Default Tito Trinidad vs Tommy Hearns

Who woulda won this fight between two monster punchers, with not so great chins?
Myself I'd have to go with Hearns via KO, but who knows, if Tito could get past that straight right and land his left hook he might be able to KO Tommy.

Hearns was a very underated BOXER he had more then just that rocket right hand. He was outboxing SRL for large parts of there fight, so i think he could beat Tito either brawling or boxer either way.

I might give Tito a slight edge in power, but other than that Tommy takes him in almost every category. Hearns with 9th round KO. I don't know if Tito ever fought a guy as rangy as Hearns either. It would interesting to see how he dealt with such a bigger fighter.

Slight edge in power my @ss. Hearns was the hardest punching welterweight and superwelterweight in history. He is, along side Gerald McClellan, regarded as p4p the hardest puncher in history. Hearns sends Trinidad out on a stretcher.

Tito is iced in this one. Hearns could box (SRY & HiLL) and God knows he could bomb. His right lands before Tito's hook and Tito is carried out of the ring. Chin wise, Tito's was far more suspicious than Tommy's. IMO

Hearns by KO, could likely end in the first round.

No one had a better jab than Hearns other than maybe Larry Holmes (IMO) Hearns jab alone would of gave Tito huge problems and I see Tito getting dropped in the later rounds if not the early rounds as Tito is a very slow starter and I think Tommy would of took advantage of that fact.

Interesting with so many Trinidad fans on here, that no one gives Tito a chance.

    Hearns by KO early,

I'm a little biased since I've been to every Hearns fight he ever had here in the Detroit area, all of his fights here were electrifying except for the last 2 and all but 3 have ended with a tko/ko. Hearns being on the short end of it against Uriah Grant, stopped by tko due to an ankle injury. He may have lost anyways but who knows, it was at cruiserweight and he was 40 or 41 yrs old then. Nobody except his Detroit fans gave him credit for his boxing ability until after the Ray Leonard fight.

i think both are about even in power, sorry but Trinidad damaged his opponants how bad he would hurt them, chin i'd have to say goes to Trinidad, even though he was shaky, he was only KO'd once, and wasn't completely out at that, Trinidad would go down more because of his balance than because of his chin, Hearns takes it on boxing ability Trinidad had some boxing skills but Hearns had better movement, jab, and speed, not that he was faster, but his combos were just smoother, and mixed up more than Tito, either way i'm sorry but just cause of the power it would be a 45/55 fight for Hearns, but not by much
