YOU SEE IMPROVEMENTS
LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK
You are doing it wrong, yet in a perverse way right.Ive said it before you have talent and a single perception kind of thing Get a good coach behind you and you would do very well

For a kid who has practicly taught himself he's coming along very very good...
It's just a shame you don't have access to a coach... you've got to get one! :P
your shots are exagerated. shorten your motions. make tight circles. and don't swign DOWN at it... swing through it more straight out, like chipping ice. also keep your hands up higher. when they come down they SLOW you down.
you're getting there though. good stuff
Thanks

You Guys Im Sorry But You All Know I Cant Get A Coach And Everytime You Guys Tell Me That It Make Me Feel Even More Worthless Its Not My Fault I Can have A Coach Just Please Be My Coach And Tell Me What I Need To Do Like VON did
ah jeez man, dont feel wothless... you're still doin it, and nobody can question your work ethic and enthusiasm
Josh,
Do a search in myspace or youtube for trainign vids of pro fighters. Then just emulate them on the speed bag. Having said that, don't worry about the speed bag too much. Quite honestly, they don't do much for you, IMO. You get a shoulder workout but not much more.
and don't let anything anyone tells you bring you down. Just keep emulating the pros. Watch them carefully and do it like they do it.
Thanks

is this the right way to hit a speed bag
yep!
i might just be a begginer but in my 2nd month i already had the speed bag down and i'll you one of the things that i used to get it right in your head keep the 123 rhythm (once you get used to the rhythm you wont need to) it may sound lame but before you go to bed try to imagine yourself hitting the speed bag (not physically standing or anything)and you'll see improvement(kind of like a meditation)hope it helps.
It makes you said that we say you're naturally talented?...Originally Posted by Boxerjl

Actually youre making a better job on the ball than he is. For the simple reason youre thinking hes not, with him the bags doing the work. With you youre doing the work , why because youre using your brain hes not. If you watch the tape he looks okay but theres no thought actually being used. I see it in gyms lots, all show and no go, its what I call using the front door approach no change of form or angles or distance the lights on but theres nobody at home.
