Clottey is a good fighter but after Margarito beat him,I don't think it's fair to say Clottey is better. He;s technically more sound, but most fighters are technically more sound than Tony,he makes up for it with other variables...such as his heart, ridiculous stamina and great placement of punches amongst other things.

Margarito should be a considerable underdog against either Cotto or Williams, and I would have a hard time seeing Margarito win even a single round against Mayweather.
I agree that the performance was disappointing but he was injured,he was rusty and he still wore Clottey out and won.To say he would be a considerable under dog against Williams and Cotto is untrue, totally and completely. Tony has been beating the shat out of everyone at 147 and on his one big/biggest night of exposure, true he was poor by his standards but the important thing is he won and to say he would not win one round against PBF again based on one performance and to overlook his destructivness at WW is absurd. If Baldo can win rounds against PBF,so can anyone....

Too many ifs and now I see you are on the Williams bandwagon

. To say he would have stopped Tony late is poor judgment man considering Clottey landed everything in the sink and sink itself against Tony in the opening four rounds and did not even buckle him. And I don't recall Clottey saying Tony was lucky or saying that he would have beat Tony if his hand was not hurt??
I agree, like I said earlier, that Tony looked poor but I am not willing to overlook everything he has done at 147 in favour of 1 fight and Clottey is a tough tough opponent but Tony won,end of. As poor as Margarito looked,he gets credit for taking such a tough tough fight, tougher than the fights most peeps have taken at 147(Williams PBF etc,Clottey is better than nearly all their opposition)
