it was a classic
man u would of gone thru imo if becks had been playing from the start.
the real defense was well shaky that night and becks laying it on for ruud would of got the goals they needed.
also becks would of pinged the ball from the right across to the left snuffing out the chance for carlos to get the ball to ronaldo who was a class apart that night.
strange the man utd goal scorers that night now play for real

Thats a possibility about Becks, Reals defense has always had problems espcially that idiot Helguera there, Real just hasn't even to this day been able to set up a good defense, I mean Sergio Ramos is probably the best of the bunch with Carlos winding down a bit.....
That hat trick by Ronaldo was just superb, great combination of power and placement....

From watching this it does remind me that Ronaldo used to be quite trim and the best striker in the world. Anyone else see a comparison between him and James Toney? Both very good boxers but have massive weight problems....

Injuries lead to weight issues IMO.....
Even then just think with injuries & weight issues the shit! he did, just imagine would he have not gotten injured...WOW!!!
