If he could KO Moorer, he wouldn't have any problem KOing Valuev. Whats 12 years anyways? Or 30?

Lol. I love your faith amat. George Foreman is a legend. In his prime he would have absolutely KILLED Valuev. Big Nic woulda looked like Foreman's heavybag when he was training for Ali; he would wind up with a huge dent in his body and maybe one or two in that giant head of his. But now...sadly, Foreman is just too old and too long removed from the game. I dont see him beating Valuev these days and I hope he isnt really considering coming out of retirement. As for Valuev I think the ONLY thing he has going for him is his size. I can't wait to see what happens when he fights a real heavyweight. The problem there is, there really is no REAL heavyweights compared to other eras in boxing history. I'd really like to see him wage a battle of the giants against W. Klitschko, who in my opinion is highly overrated, but still the most skilled and dangerous heavyweight out there right now.

WOW! you guys dont give Valuev ANY credit at all.
Big George used his size and strength and power to dominate the guys of his era. All of those would be lost against Valuev. Sure George moped up Fraizer. Frazier was what? 5'10"??
Frazier's Defense was always weak. The crossed arm Archie moore style. He sort of ignored guys punches and shook 'em off,I dont think he could shake off Valuev overhand right and every punch is heavy.
I say Valuev tires him out! George gassed against Ali! In 1973 against Fraizer "BIG" George weighed 217!! Get a 7'3" 350lb guy leaning on him holding and pushing him around and George gasses out and gets clubbed out! George was the neanderthal of his day. Big haymaker clubbing punches. Valuev is the Super-monster of 2007! The more I think about it the more I think Valuev would KO George in his prime. I know I'm all alone on this. But wait! Big George is a lot like Jameel Mccline!
Lets see what happens to him vs Valuev. The early Foreman was aggressive but smallish, the later was bigger but less aggressive (like McCline) I say Valuev beats em both!
    Hey call me stupid!?
    Convince me I'm wrong!

....out of all the title holders in the history of heavyweight boxing I Valuev tops the list of fighters I am not scared of.

George might LOOK like McCline but he had more power than McCline could ever dream of

Wow! I can not beleive you just said that Frazier would be KO'd by a guy who has barely managed to squeeze by when faced with an old Larry Donald and John Ruiz. Please tell me that was a joke. Valuev's size is awesome. To bad he can't even establish distance. Valuev also has about the worst reaction time I've ever seen from a boxer. Let's see him try to move his frame out of the way of a Frazier left hook. I would be like hitting a Yeti with his hands tied behind his back.

Its very common for people to talk about the old days...in any sport.
The fact is that old atheletes could not compete with modern atheletes period. In any quantitative sport it is obvious. 100 yard dash, weight lifting etc. There is no question. It is resonable to assume that the same would hold true for other athletic events such as boxing.
I thought my argument was well expressed. Foreman was great against 5'10 frazier. Foreman was "big" at 217 pounds. He would be destroyed today. Maskaev,Rahman etc are all 245+ and much better all around boxers. Athletes are better conditioned, trained etc and there is a 1000 times larger pool of athletes competing for spots in professional sports. I think every top 10 fighter today would beat any fighter from the 60's. Thats why i dont usually get into these type of discussions. In the javalin throw in track and field they had to re-design the javalin because the athletes were throwing it so far it was landing in the stands! They would have had to make it a seperate event held outside of the stadiums! To say that some javelin gold medalist from 1940 would beat the best in the world today is ridiculous. The numbers dont lie. I like to see current fighters getting the credit and recognision that they deserve. I laugh when people snort at minor belts like NABF or something. Try and win one, see how easy it is. Hey I may be wrong. But teh more i defend Valuev...the more I like him! Hope he proves me right agains Jameel Mcline!
