Default The official top 5 p4p

Wlad - destroying Byrd and Brock should definitely get you on the top (what else should get on the list?)

Maywether - he is just so good and would be no1 if he fought better opposition.

Jermain Taylor - sole based on results - IMO he would clearly loose to both Calzaghe and especially Kessler

Calzaghe - just talent but not doing well with it....

Manny Pac - extremely overrated but did just okay in 2006

    agree?

Good fighter. Argueably the best of the heavyweight division...but beating Brock & Byrd doesn't get you on top of any list. Byrd won very poor fights against some lack lustre opponents & got some decisions that he shouldn't have won. Brock was unproven & had fought no one of merit & was rushed in with someone way above his league.

Mayweather is #1 on the list. He's fought damned good opposition too.

Taylor? He deserves a spot on the list because of his wins...even though they are a bit controversial...he did indeed win...or atleast get the decisions...I don't think that Calzaghe or Kessler will be a factor because Taylor has now stated he won't move up. He's got more important fights than that..Abraham, Miranda, Pavlik, & more await him @ 160lbs.

Yep. Undefeated with record defenses & the top fighter of his division...yep. Hands down he deserves a spot.

Wlad: Ok, he is the best heavy in the world IMO but Byrd and Brock arent exactly great, to be honest there just good fighters nothing special, he shouldnt even be in the top 10 IMO

Mayweather: No 1 for me but you say he hasnt fought top opposition, half true. Baldomir was undisputed champ so that wasnt weak opposition and Gatti was still a big name in the world title picture when PBF brutalized him but he never should of fought zab after he lost to baldo and it did seem like he was ducking Margarito, maybe even Hatton.

Taylor: You cant deny him his place 2 wins over B-Hop and a draw against Winky are undeniably good results even with all the controversy in the Hopkins fights.

Calzaghe: i wouldnt say he hould be no. 4 but he should be on the list, if he fights and beats Kessler maybe i'll reconsider.

PacMan: OKAY?!?!, IMO he was fighter of the year he beat Morales twice and even though Erik was fading that is still some mean feat and he beat Larios convingly, i would say he should be number 2

But as wacko said this is about opinions and i respect everyones so CC for making the effort to make the list and creating some good discussion.

OK from now on I think ID should be required with every membership application....I find it hard to believe that there is more than one person out there who would post such nonsense...Let alone say Pacquiao had a so so year

I completely overlooked how "official" he made it without bringing that shit to vote.

Heh heh heh. I reckon this one, like so many others, feels he's been born into royalty.
