Default proudest and dissapointing moment of 2006

moments that made you proud? and moments that dissapointed you

    here's mine,

proud of pretty boy floyd for not getting involve in the rumble in the fight with judah. he stayed at his corner and acted real professional. and after the scuffle he was the one to first reach out to zab and touch gloves. from then on he spank zab for being bad. =-)

dissapointed in winky for not finishing big against j.t. and than acted like a sour loser after hearing it was a draw witch I believe is fair for both fighters. also for not agreeing on a rematch right afterwards.

proud of the pacman for doing what he said he would of done if he had his comfy gloves for the first fight, that is k.o the iron chin legend eric morales. also for bringing improvement to his game.

dissapointed in brian viloria for allowing nino to ruin his undefeated record, all he needs to do is be more aggressive and he should of k.o the junky.

proad of wladdy "big daddy k.o" klitshko, proud of how after critics clown on him he survive to school giant puncher peter and knocking out most recent longest heavyweight champ chris bird then k.oed undefeated contender brock.

dissapointed in castillo and chico, castillo not making weight for their third fight and then chico talking shit about it but then comes in over weight against casamayor, and on top of that chico came in to perform his second worst boxing performance ever. he look hesitant and just not as aggressive as he usually is.

proud of the mab man, even if it was boring mab showed rocky a boxing lesson, the legend continues.

proud of eric "el terrible" morales, when he raise pacs hands after the lost to him in their third fight. and how he himself admits he did everything to win but pacman was too strong and was the better fighter. accepting defeat and coming from a legend like eric is a very memorable moment.dissapointed in some fans because it sucks most fans don't understand that instead just rather bash him and take away from pacs victory to just say eric is shot.

dissapointed in joe.C for looking more like a moron then a p4p fighter in his first hbo showing, I don't get why he had to feel like walking back to his corner the way he did making himself look stupid. and just keeps talking about he`ll fight this and that but now ends up to only get menfrado a loser at a boxing reality show wtf?

proud of miguel "anghell" cotto for giving some undefeated game fighters thier first lost, as he takes risk but still continues to be undefeated.

dissapointed in jmm, after losing to chris john he fought some game unknown fighter whoop and k.oed them but he too took some shots never seen jmm with a face like that after those two fights(besides the one with the pacman) I don't agree in him being more aggressive and taking risk and those past two fights showed he gets hit by southpaws easier. bad bad thing now at 33 is not the time to get more aggressive and make changes in his already masterfull boxing skills.

proud of bhop for making a career comeback to whoop lightheavyweight king tarver. bhop should be on everyones top 4 p4p still.

Dissappointed in Margarito's activity levels and rusty showing v Clottey BUT glad that he showed heart and won.

Dissappointed in wInky not rematching JT,throwing away the last round and his attitude after the fight.

    Morales losing....

Cotto moving to 147 and showing his best

    Castillo and Corrales hypocrisy

The awesome matches that are being made for 07

Arthur Abraham and Cory Spinks wins against Miranda and Karmazin, hope these 2 mothafuckas get KTFO

Baldo winning the WW title of the world was dissappointing for me because had Gatti won, Cotto would have moved up to fight him and would have beaten Gatti's ass and won the titles. The Floyd would have had to fight him.

Judah losing to Baldo and STILL getting a chance from Floyd.

Jeff Lacy getting the crap beaten out of him, coming back and fighting like a warrior only to get injured was MASSIVELY dissappointing for me as I becamse a Lacy fan after the JC(got his whole career!)

Calazghe following up Lacy with Bika and Manfredo?!?! Not Taylor, not Winky...Manfredo?!?!?

B Hop wanting to fight Maskaev, why?! Fight a better HW, or even better, fight JC!!

That's it for now,but I'll have more for sure.

O,Parra getting injured and not fighting all year sucked ass.

Not much you can do when you get sparked out like that though man. He was doing ok for a while to be fair though, but he's certainly no Holyfield is he

I was pleased for Audley Harrison who showed a lot of bottle in my book by coming back to the UK and battering Danny Williams.

I was disappointed in Audley Harrison's mouth after beating Danny Williams. When he asked Jim Rosenthall if he thought he had what it takes to become champ I was praying that Rosenthall would say settle down dipshit, its only Danny Williams. As expected my prayers weren't answered and Rosenthall said yes.

I was pleased for Joe Calzaghe who went some way to silencing his critics when he schooled Jeff Lacy.

I was disappointed with Joe Calzaghe for providing his critics with all the ammunition they needed (and picking up a few new ones to boot) by agreeing to fight a talent show runner up.

When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Can't think of a clear proudest moment off the top of my head.

Most disappointing was definitely Morales' final loss to Pacquiao. Morales is one of my favorite fighters ever, and it was sobering to watch one of the toughest and bravest fighters of this era get counted out while sitting down, knowing that he was a beaten man.
I thought he deserved to go into history as the winner in at least one of the two great trilogies. Tough to see him lose both.
