Excluding yourself, who is the best boxer at 140?

There are a lot of boxers out there, but I know one boxer and his name is Jesus. He's stronger than anybody and when you follow his will you can't beat him.

Wow, talk about being in the minority, the author must've never seen Urango fight.

I hear everyone talking about how strong he is. You know what happens when you do too much strength training? You eventually lose. The reason being you become very slow, and when you do too much isolated weight lifting it shortens your muscles, and makes it harder to coordinate a good punch (becoming an arm puncher)

I love where the author says "Ricky has the odds stacked against him this Saturday."

Here's how the guys that handicap fights for a living have it:

    Bet365.com
    Hatton: 1/8
    Urango: 5/1

    Expekt.com
    Hatton: 1/10
    Urango: 6/1

    Totesport
    Hatton: 1/12
    Urango: 6/1

    Totalbet
    Hatton: 1/10
    Urango: 11/2

    Stan James
    Hatton: 1/12
    Urango: 11/2

    SkyBet
    Hatton: 1/12
    Urango: 11/2

Killersheep's Virtual Sports Book (subject to change)
    Hatton: 1/8
    Urango: 11/2

I was bemuzed by that as well as Hatton will have huge support on the night but i'm getting a gut feeling that Hatton is in for a tough fight.

That article reads like a bit of a piss take

Love the Jesus line from Urangatango.

Hatton really needs to send this guy to meet his god. Seriously, calling yourself the son of God is asking for trouble...

I think both fights on the doubleheader will be entertaining but no way either Hatton or Castillo lose.
The will probably meet in a PPV fight in the summer so the judges will not be spoiling that.

I think that both fights will be competitive but Castillo will have more trouble with Ngoudjo than Hatton will with Urango.

Both guys win close ,maybe controversial decisions.

I dont really see anything other then a lopsided Hatton decision, or a late TKO. Cant see Urango beating Hatton at 140, Hatton is VERY good there. Then again i only seen the odd bit of Urango, so mite not have the most valid opinion.

Urango is made for Hatton. If Hatton struggles with this guy or lose. It'll show just how overrated Hatton always was. There is absolutely no reason Hatton should struggle with Urango. He was hand-picked to make people forget the Collazo fight.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Hatton hit the deck once or twice.

By the way, he's 5ft 8' and Hatton is 5ft 6'. How the hell does he make 140?

I just rewatched some of Urangos fights & he has good defense. He looks like a mini Tyson with guard up & chin tucked & some head movement. And throws to the body well. Hatton will have the speed advantage for sure.

After watchin him again I am more excited about the fight. I still dont think Urango can beat him but it should be good.

People say he was unimpressive against Rabah but damn he was running like a bitch, when Rabah stood still he took some hellacious leather, Urango had only bad intentions, true power but no real southpaw awkwardness, this fight on paper isn't even as exciting as the picture in my head. Both men will be hurt in this fight, no doubt.

I only just saw that fight recently on Friday fightnight (in UK) and your 100% right, Rabah ran a LOT in that fight. Urango does have good defence, movement, handspeed and carries a lot of power. Many on this site have said he is slow, clumsy and has no skill whatsoever. Thats all bollocks.
