    Default Bloody Noses

My past two sparring sessions I've walked outta the ring with bloody noses. Not crazy gushers or anything, still went a few more rounds after they happened, but my nose was still drippin blood. Anyway, is this something your nose adapts too? Will this eventually toughen up the skin inside my nose to where I can take the same shots and not bleed? Or am I doomed to a career of bloody noses? I've noticed my eyes dont water anymore when I get hit in the nose, so I'm hoping the bleeding thing will stop too.

ive had this a couple of times

let it rest a couple of weeks so the nose has time to repair, then it shudnt bleed

ur best bet tho is to try and not let any1 hit it lol

I have the same problem. I dont even need to get hit hard on the nose. If someone gets a jab on it, then I start to bleed. I've spared three times and it's bled all three times. My coach told me to put vasaline in my nose to lubricate it a little for next time. I put a little bit of vasaline the last time I spared, and no luck. I just hope I get used to it. Any reccomendations from anyone else?

Reminds me of a match I had many years ago . I had me nose broke early in the match.. swallowed blood for about 8 rounds , at times choking on the fucking stuff ! I won the fight oddly enough .anyway I got nauseous. and as I was walking down the hall to my dressing room, I puked ! looked like something from a slasher film ! this lady security guard started screaming.. it was fucking tops ! really fucking funny ! blood everywhere ! crime scene shit ! LMFAO !

You get hit in the nose good enough , your going to bleed. just the way it is ... I had some vessels surgical cauterized to help prevent gushes.. even still if I get hit flush on the nose I bleed a bit . actually a lot of the cartilage in the nose is gone and broken down from years of eating jabs and str8 rt's ! LMFAO ..

Some things you can do to minimize bleeds, is keep the nostrils moist.. When the nasal passage is dry it cracks and causes a good gush especially in the winter time .! .. I swab my nose with Vaseline before fights. And use a moisturizing nasal spray a few days prior to my match. I thinks its called Ocean. And there is another one called Prets ?? I think that’s the name,.. I hope this is helpful for you mate !
