I cannot see any reason at all why this can't be made and Joe must surely know he'd have to take a smaller cut of the purse purely because it's Bernard Hopkins but he still would stand to make a sh*tload.
Mega fight imo and It's good (at long last) to see our UK elite getting these type of fights
    Fingers crossed!

I gotta say B-hop is starting to were thin on my nerves.... He needs to make up his gotdam mind on who the hell he's fighting

Last week it Was Roy Jones

This Morning it was Winky Wright

    This afternoon its Joe Calzaghe

I'v never seen anythink like this ever.. I think he is so egotistical he cant be out of the spotlight without feeling leftout.... I luv Bhop the fighter, but B-Hop out of the ring is starting to be a drama queen

Is he talking if/after Hopkins were to beat Wright then it's a possibility?!? Or that maybe that will be Hopkins next fight now? Either way it's a very exciting prospect imo.. Id rather see Hopkins sign to fight Calzaghe now, that would bring him more than beating Winky anways and certainly would make for a more entertaining fight..

I here you Smash I would love to see this fight come off too

But I mean Hopkins is doing more talking than anything...... This whole comeback thing started with Maskaev, then Roy Jones...etc.

I know there is alot that go's into making a fight but I feel like all this BHOP talk is just a publicity stunt for GBP, I know I sound like I'm hating but I think he just needs to stop talking and just fight if thats what he's going to do... again I love B-hop as a fighter but this spotlite monger that he is being I could do without

I know what you mean mate But the fact Oscar has publicly come out and stated that Mr Warren is in talks is a potent sign that this could be made.

Styles make fights and all that... and for me these two would gel perfectly in the ring

Yea it's very possible, that's why Id be really surprised if there were serious talks about it now yet Hopkins still plans to fight Winky in July..I hope it just happens instead of that fiht, much as I like Winky no reason he can't take other fights at 160.. Id rather see Winky fight Hopkins than Roy Jones mind you, but Calzaghe would be the best fight Hopkins could take. Can you imagine though, if they signed this fight then Calzaghe lost to Manfredo... now that would be embaressing..

    You even forgot one!!

Oleg Maskaev -> Roy Jones Jr. -> Winky Wright -> Joe Calzaghe

personally I think he should fight Alfredo Gomez or Sergio Mora, just to spite Calzaghe.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Hopkins should fight winky first and maybe not fight calzaghe because i have a bad feeling calzaghe would win

CC for that, .. I could just imagine it.. "Sergio Mora is my next opponent, with two great wins over Peter Manfredo i figure he'll realy help me establish myself even more here in America... Calzaghe and his peoples reaction would be priceless.

who the hell is bhop really going to fight

i think anyone of jones, winky or even joe.C will be a good fight to watch. i think bhop beats all of them though. jones should look good on his already legendary resume but bhop imo should get back that lost from jones still even though yea jones is past it, its ok though because when they fought bhop wasnt prime yet, not its both of them thats past it so i think it equals out. bhop is a late bloomer so even at 40 he has perserve himself.

as for winky, it'll be a battle of defensive brilliants. it could be boring but winky is a smash mouth come forward defenive wizard, it'll make a great match as bhop is a dirty inside bastard, they sure can fruastrate eachother, but bhop i think will win out by countering and size.

joe.C may mustard a dozen punches a round, but bhop is no lacy, joe.c looks like a amature on how he punches or slaps. bhop will capitalize on it and make joe.c pay. he'll fruastrate joe.C and have him on his a$s. i'l love to see bhop shut this guy up and make him go back to his hiding place where he can keep winning. against past it or has beens.
