I found it on the Ricky Hatton site. And as much as I love Ricky, I prefer to not surround myself with people living in fantasy world all the time... as well as talk about other stuff.

I was googling Jeff Lacy and one of his pictures was the avatar they have available here, with the litttle red bar underneath thtat said Saddoboxing.com. I was really looking for a new forum, so I read a bit on the front page that I liked. Came to the forum and haven't left since....

Definitely the best message board out there.

I was stuck at work on a saturday night, and I needed to find a way to follow the Klitschko-Brock fight.
So I googled "Klitschko Brock round by round," and there were a few other results, and then one titled, "Wacko's Drunken Round-by-Round."
    I prefer drunken round-by-rounds over sober round-by-rounds, so I clicked on Wacko's.
    Registered a couple days later.

    Honestly..I really dont know..
Couldnt have possibly imagined this would be my thing before august first...
But damn.. I cant stay off the place.. Its home away from home.. Just a great site ..

I think its probably so appealing due to a great number of posters that actually contribute and know theyr stuff.. I think i originally came because when here i was finding out the news when it came out delivered strait to the main boxing board..

Living in Korea means its hard enough finding people who speak English let alone understand boxing. Even back home I found it hard to find anyone who really knew what I was wittering about when it came to boxing. For a good while I would read the Saddo's board and read the threads and after a while I thought to myself, "Why dont I sign up and post the stuff I would like to see up there?" and that is what I have been doing for a long time now. I just keep on posting and saying my thing. I was lucky to find Saddo's because it was the first place I really stumbled across and immediately it seemed like a good place.

This place always feels like home. We have a great crowd. A good mix of knowledgable posters, learning newbies and the place is always evolving.

I have never been computer savvy, however recently got the fix on it to some degree. at least I am able to turn it on and off and type a bit. , anyway many years ago I was interviewed at the IBF boxing Convention in San Antonio May of 97 by this bloke named Darren from Australia .He was writing for Ray Wheatley boxing website and mentioned he frequented the website, forum a great deal . Its not up anymore ?? , at that time I didn’t know shit on computers. .. Anyway we had a blast at the conference A lot of the fighters and writers at the convention went out on the town , we all went to the Riverwalk and partied it up real good . Any way’s Darren’s group consisted of several trainers and so on from Australia they were with the Kostya Tszyu camp They were a fucking hilarious group , and we had a great time I never laughed so hard in my life ! We are drinking pint after pint. ( Kostya was already in Atlantic City and could not attend the Convention) good thing cause we were hammered . LMFAO . . Anyway Tszyu was making his defense against Vince Phillips that weekend in New Jersey . so they were off. the next day . I was starting camp that weekend no actually I was deep into camp at that time , my memory is not the best. LOL so anyway I didn’t go “ really wanted to, these guys were fun to be around ! . I lost contact after that and never heard from Darren again .. So I have been on the search now that i can funtion on the computer , thought I might stumble onto something , well I stumbled onto this site.. Found it as addictive as any drug on the planet. And have been planted here ever sense. Crazy how things happen ! Good group this here !

used to post on the old Naz forum many years back when some guy I used to exchange boxing banter with who went by the name of Saddo said he was launching his own site and would we like to register.

I refused but he threatened to release pictures of me inspecting trees on Hampstead Heath....

Had been just reading a few of the threads for a couple weeks without being a member, didn't really plan on being one, but there was this Klitschko fan that annoyed me so badly (Sevenndeuce, some of the older members might remember him) that I decided to join thinking I would just post once or twice.

Next day I had to get my wisdom teeth taken out and couldn't do anything for like 4 days so just sat around and took painkillers and posted like 50 times a day.

I was on parole for a particularly sadistic ritual murder, which I committed some time ago.

I thought that my parole officer couldn't track me on the computer, so I googled 'Sado' (as I have a passing interest in improving my sado-masochistic BTK skills)

Looks like I mistyped it, and now I can't get off this F****** website. ....... no really, I think someone has put a Spidey-Sensor on my computer or something and I can't exit this website. It's a bit like the Truman Show in reverse. I feel like the guy in Tron.

Still, at least I got to meet Graham John-Boy The Gimp Emma, and my life has been enriched (in the same way that uranium is enriched) by 'characters' like Royal, Jax, ProBoxer 18 Monstor for my weight etc

Since Espn has EXTREMELY limited coverage for Boxing, when I wanted to be in the Know how I would google boxing news and always read it off of Saddos, Well I decided I wanted to join a boxing forum so one day I was like screw it, I'm joining Saddo's, never researched the site or anyones elses I just hoped it would be good, 10 months later I can say I am more than pleased and happy to be a part of this community... Everyone is top notch

I read the site for months before joining. Was very new to computers and thought the only people that spoke over the internet were NERDS and PEEDOS...True.

Then I saw that not only was the boxing debate good, but it was a fun place with some HILARIOUS CHARACTERS...sadly all but a few of those guys are long gone, but it's still a great site.
