    Default Mosley calls out Baldomir

At least Mosley is really trying to do the right thing at 147.

I don't know... It's not a fight that interests me really, mainly because I have a hard time imagining Baldomir actually winning, I wouldn't expect it to be very competitive... Baldy can't even bother Shane with anything offensively, the best he could do is take a beating over 12 rds..

Im with you there. I dont think Baldomir has the skills to make the fight competitive enough to get too exited about. You never know though in this game.

The thing is, Baldomir still is a player at 147. So the fight, or more importantly the win will have a reward for Mosley in the sense that he is initiating the making of fights (which is a sign of a fighter wanting to prove himself to the masses) and winning them (which is the sign of... Well, a winner).

Also, IMO he'd give Baldi more of a fight than Floyd did :P

Definitely. Mosley doesn't have PBF's hand issues so it should be more of a bludgeoning in a Mosley victory even if it goes all 12. I think he's calling out Baldo as a means of chasing PBF. And I bet it works.

Mayweather is a way better boxer than Mosley. Baldomir would have a much easier time hitting a prime Mosley than PBF let alone a 35 year old Mosley. IMO if Mosley deserves the next shot at PBF after ODLH he has to face Baldomir and pretty much beat him unanimously.

I'd rather see Mosley vs Cotto...and then the winner take on PBF.

Totally disagree. Waste of time at this point.

Not that Baldo aint worthy...it's just that Baldo needs to pull out some stops with some lesser fighters before he get's in with Mosley & Mosley will be taking a step backwards with this one. Totally stupid fight. Can't see how anyone wants it now...not until Baldo does something worthy again.

There's Saldivia, Williams, Cintron, Judah, Cotto, Margarito, & a step up or a catchweight there's Spinks, & Martinez.

Best of all there is little known but highly regarded Sergio Martinez...whom I say Mosley dodged like a bullet.

Step backwards for Mosley. If Baldomir ain't the champion, he's pretty much useless. No sense in fighting him

For being useless I say he beats almost everyone Wacko mentioned. Cotto has a weak chin, and if he can't hurt Baldomir he may lose that. Margaritto same thing except he isn't as skilled as Cotto or Baldomir. Cintron definitely has proven less than anyone else mentioned. I think Martinez would beat Baldomir, and same with Judah if they fought again, but only them I would be on beating him for sure. Paul Williams not yet... once he faces Margaritto we will see how good they are so this could be a in the mean time fight because Cotto is facing Urkal then Judah taken both of them out. Margaritto is facing Paul Williams taking those two out. THat leaves Martinez who isn't at welterweight, and Baldomir who is better known, and somebody who Mosley will be able to use as a comparison for fighting Mayweather.

Thing is, apart from Baldomir, the rest of the WW are all fairly big-mouthed. I expect one of them to share you views and slip up with a statement like yours.

Hence, Mosley has some one with an ounce of credibility calling him out, which i dont think ive seen for sometime.

the fight doesnt really excite me. would much rather see mosley in a bigger fight with the likes of margarito, cotto or mayweather. mosley hits harder than mayweather and he would batter baldy till the ref saved him i reckon.

So you actually think that after getting hammered out by Floyd, Baldo brings more to the table than Saldivia, Williams, Cintron, Judah, Cotto, Margarito, Spinks, or Martinez?
