Female friendly?. Have been boxing out at a gym for two years and it is just toooo disgusting. I know of Shulers Gyms, but looking for something in West Philly. Can anybody give me some direction? I heard their was one on 69th Street.

shulers gym is the only gym i know of for sure in west philly. why don't u like Shuler's Gym.

i've heard that there was a Gym around 69th street but i'm sure what it's called or where it's at. i think it's a gym around 57th and haverford.

as far as finding a clean gym that going to be kinda of tough. i've trained at Shuler and Front street gyms and i've been to champs gym. out of the three shulers was the cleanest.

'Mighty Micks Boxing' is the only one that comes to mind. Mickey Goldmill is the head trainer there, some good fighters came out of there too - Dipper Brown, and a guy called Balboa who could bang a bit.

Careful though - if you're not dedicated Mick may call you a 'tomato' and bag your stuff and put it on skid row.

Some fighters have reported some unusual training methods, such as being instructed to 'jab it til it hoits'...
