Johnny Tapia The news isn't good 10:00pm New out of Albuquerque, NM.

I just heard on the Albuquerque New Mexico news that Johnny Tapia's brother-in-law was killed this morning while on his way to see Johnny at University Hospital... How much more should he have to endure? He has been up-graded from critical to serious... If you haven't already please keep Johnny in your prayers as well as his family.

That's really unfortunate. Maybe this will be a wake up call for Tapia? Probably not

By all accounts he's a great guy but drugs are just such a nasty thing. I hope he sees the light of day after this one but this is a guy who has already been dead on the hospital table before, I don't see why this would be different. Good luck Johnny and best wishes to his family for their loss but this one doesn't look to have a happy ending written on it.

They are going to have to change "Murphy's Law" to "Tapia's Law", how much bad shit can happen to one guy? Does anyone know the scoop on what happened to his mother?I know she was kidnapped and stabbed to death, but I never read any motives....

This is a guy that just keeps going...Yes he has some studder steps and yes he at times is self destructive but leave me say this...Most people would have totally just folded by now...Tapia has a strong charachter about him...I agree with the thread title..How much longer can he take mentally at least....The man has to be destined for better things in the next life..He deserves it...

Let's all just pray that life is still afr away and he pulls through all this and his family does as well..

Truth is his wife has to be one of the most genuine people in the world...She deals with all of Johnnys S*** and then some when most would have walked away by now

Not sure how I feel about Tapia to be honest. I know he has been through some horrific stuff but so have others and they dont live their lives like time bombs. He's got children too hasnt he? What kind of role model is he to them?
