Default How do you like cory spinks chances against jermain taylor????

i mean taylor is the favorite and I think he'll win something like 8 rounds to 4. but even if taylor is not at his best i still think he will pull off like a split decision. even tho I will go for cory in this fight he's the underdog and the smaller guy. it'll be better if cory wins. I guess for cory to win he'll have to try to pot shot jermain all fight in order to win. But i doubt it if jermain beat bernard twice and had a draw with winky i doubt he loses to spinks. But in Boxing anything can happen

I don't think he makes it very far. He has to come inside and out and I think he catches Spinks going out and when he does it could be good night for Spinks. I like Spinks I really do but he fought at WW just a little while ago, going against an enormous middleweight like Taylor, where there is so much distance that Spinks has to travel from the outside in, it just doesn't spell well.

Taylor is now the bad punchline of a fwockin worse joke to me now.

As for how do you like Cory Spinks chances against Jermain Taylor?

I love it...for the undercard. Pavlik vs Miranda.

Truely...I am so sincerely disappointed in "Stuttering Stanley", he coulda been somebody...he coulda been a contendah!

Taylor will give him a beating and stop him within 6 rounds. Corey is not a middleweight so i do give him credit but hes in way over his head

Are you serious Wacko? He beat Hopkins, came close against Wright and beat Ouma. Hopkins, Hopkins, Wright. Coming out of that 2-0-1, I don't care how many disagree with the decisions the fact that he made all of these fights close against the highest of the high is impressive. Somebody? He's top 10 P4P, you can't possibly expect to much more then that?

    This one's an open question...but more for Hulky-Wulky-Loo :

So if Corey uses the ring to outbox Taylor & wins...what then?

Let's back track: If Corey uses the ring to outbox Taylor & wins & get's robbed...what then?

Deathly. Hopkins won the first fight or atleast drew over a short start. He lost the second fight...I concede.

    Taylor lost to Ouma...sorry...he did.

Ouma stood toe to toe with him & battered him up good.

Getting in with higher opp is impressive enough...but anyone can do that. Sure showing out against the tip top is great...but he didn't show out...sorry...he didn't. He backed out.

    I don't consider him top 10. Sorry...I don't.

He's HBO's falling star & that's the way I see it. Unless you win concincingly & you dominate impressively...you aint P4P...you might be on the cusp...but that's it for me.

I used to be a huge "Stuttering Stanley" fan...but he aint done shit lately to impress me...so don't bring up Hopkins & Wright...because getting a gift & then losing but getting another gift don't flush.

TAYLOR SHOULD DROP HIS WITTLE PANNIES, GRIP THE BOWL, & SHOW THAT TURD WHO'S BOSS!

...because he's goin swirly down the crapper with me & many more fans.

He's not going to beat Taylor on the outside. Just on size alone he won't get anything done from the outside. Bet your ass Taylor will not have any problem throwing over top that jab of his if he stays on the outside. I mean, he's an already one dimensional fighter who has got the outside element of his game taken away. He's going to have to do work almost exclusively on the inside now, get inside quick then leave. And he has questionable stamina so that isn't going to keep up.

Again, I like Spinks, I find him fun to watch. But I doubt he wins more then 3 rounds if he makes it to the cards at all.

I think its more Dibella then Taylor doing that talking and stuff.

    You thought Ouma beat Taylor

You think that Taylor lost more rounds to Ouma? Granted he did not look really good but how many do against Ouma? He's an awkward guy who always has his hands in your face. Not often do I disagree wih you you know that, but I disagree with 110% of this post.

If anything he is gaining fans imo, I know he picked me up just because he fought Wright alone. And winning convincingly, it's impossible to win convincingly against the top notch. He won convincingly against Ouma imo. But back to the winning convincingly, Barrera hasn't won convincingly against the elite, he had close decisions with Juarez, Marquez, Morales and he lost to Pacquiao.

JMM hasn't won convincingly, his 3 big fights have been against Pacquiao, John (I know it was controversial but close nonetheless) and Barrera. And he's a close 1-1-1. And there is an argument to be made that he should be 0-3 in those fights (though I don't agree with it.)

Yet Taylor is held to a higher standard for what reason? He's made the fights close and when you take a look back, there is a case that he won all 3 of those fights. I personally believe he should be 2-1 at best because I just don't believe he beat Wright but still, he got the decisions and that has to count for something. It counts for everyone else.

Jermain "I am desperate for a knockout" Taylor.

I hope he does not get the knock out he is looking for.

I think this is the fight that finally allows Taylor to look pretty good as champion. Spinks is naturally smaller and Taylor will be able to hurt Spinks who will have his work cut out to even win more than a couple of rounds
