    Default Why the Floyd hate?

Floyd put on a good performance in an entertaining fight. Sure, it was no classic and there was no blood and guts. But come on, did any serious fan really expect that? Floyd maneuvored and stood his ground at times. He stood his ground more so as the fight progressed and looked effortless as the later rounds rolled in. He was hardly dancing on the backfoot the entire fight!!

He beat Oscar fair and square in a BOXING match. That is how smart boxers win their fights. It may not be edge of the seat stuff but thats how it usually plays out. Personally, I found it to be a very interesting fight.

Floyd once again jumped up in weight and this time very clearly took on and beat the best the division had to offer...

He deserves some acclaim instead of this abuse I see out there on the forum. Stop taking shots for just a moment and give him his moment. Floyd came and delivered and by a wider margin than a single point. No way in a million years could anybody with a rational mind consider giving Oscar the decision. Im not a huge fan of either fighter but can see that Floyd won and in a way that I found pleasing enough to watch.

Haters are just boring entities who need to find more in their lives!

i don't know why people thought that PBF a known defensive fighter would decide to brawl the bigger man especialy when the bigger man is DLH.

i have no problem giving floyd his props.. regardless of what i think(i think dela hoya won) floyd did what he always does. i do have a problem with his nuthugger fans.. "dela hoya got schooled" "floyd won easily" "118-110 in favor of mayweather" come on man.. we know they are pbf fans but get real, your man won, take it and leave it alone.. dont come and say that dela hoya got schooled coz it didnt happen.. dela hoya ran out of will and gas.. but thats about everytime he fights the distance.. at least he gave us a fight to watch

are you siting on the toilet in that picture.

the only reason why people are so hype about PBF winning is because of the haters.

I enjoyed the fight. I can't see how anyone thinks Oscar won, but I didn't have Floyd winning by 6 points. 2-4 at best.

Bruising the opponent doesn't win the fight... WOW Corley and Augustus bruised and bled MAyweather does that mean they won as well? GOOD CALL Josef.

I dont really hate him. But his fans get ridiculous comparing him to Whitaker and alltime greats when he hasnt even proven himself yet. He hasnt beaten a great fighter, he hasnt done anything since lightweight. This win over Oscar doesnt prove anything. The truth is he beat an old man who lost 4 of his last 5 fights. Oscar was never that great to begin with. He was just as overrated as Floyd was in his day.

ok.. lack of vision is fine by me if you could tell me this straight up.. are you empressed by pbf's showing tonight?knowing that he has more skills than dela hoya, the only advantage that odlh has is strength.. forget experience coz that has no factor in this fight.. are you satisfied to be called p4p and was backing up all night long?

i'm the biggest PBF fan on this site and i agree that beating oscar was a good win buts it doesn't mean as much as when tito(no matter your opinion)and shane got W's over oscar.

note: i don't want to start oscar trinadad debate. i was only trying to show the differeces in the times.

It's called "ring generalship and defense"

And he stood toe to toe with Oscar too. And it wasnt Floyd getting tired in the late rounds was it? Why do you think that is?
