had it been man u v liverpool I think man u would have won easily

had it been man u v milan i think milan would have won easily (ie one match at a neutral ground)

so why do I just think that Liverpool will win whatever happens !

man u and chelsea must scratch their heads when they see liverpool's results in europe and how far back they are in the league...

I remember back in 2005 we had players like Igor Biscan, Djimi Traore & Sinima Pongolle playing the games of their lives for us.

Right now, were a top class striker away from winning the Premiership

Yeah, Dirk Kuyt is really good but Bellamy and Crouch don't help him too much. And by that I mean their style of play doesn't work well with Kuyt's

Crouch is awesome on set pieces though so he should stay on the team.

I think a really easy simple deal for Liverpool would be to sign Eddie Johnson, he's friggin fast as hell and he can put the ball away. But then again that is without me knowing of any other strikers that are available right now....don't think we need Ronaldo he's fat and old.

Will Momo be playing this go 'round

You know what, thats a bloody good question. Part of me wants to see him play becuase i know we have to fight for the middle of the park which means players like Pennant will miss out. But i don't like the way Momo dives in so much and against the Italians, you just cant do that.

Im thinking, Momo will start as part of a very robust team, but if tactics change, he'll be the 1st one off.

    CC back btw

I like Momo, he's a tough customer and a fan favorite.....though his fill in Mascherano did very well

Apparently Fernando Torres wears a head band or arm band which has "you'll never walk alone" printed on the reverse....

If we signed him, id put money on us winning the Premiership!

Jim you know what, when there was strong rumours with us buying this guy i was unsure, he isnt proven for me as a big scoring goal machine, he is patchy ive watched him in Spain and hes very inconsistant, i think the top mangers Fergie Benitez etc have seen what he can do and think they can bring that out all the time, but im unsure, i think if you really want to win the Premiership it's Eto for me. Hes a Van Nistelroy sort of guy he will guarantee 25+ a season no doubt.

I's ares for a few years anyway you stick to your European nights!!!

Eto'o is sick. Rather him and Rooney than him and Drogba!!!

    Can you imagin that!

Torres would work for us if it turns out he really is a closet Scouser
