When boxing fans hear "Don King" most make a frowny face and diss him but as far as boxing goes, didn't he bring us the best fights so far? I mean, I remember when he had Julio Cesar Chavez and my family and friends would order the fights. I don't remember watching a fight where I would go "Who's this guy?" One of the best fight cards that come to mind is that event called "Revenge: The Rematches" Oh man! Talk about big names in their prime! Also, doesn't he pay bring the bigger bucks? Don King's PPV events were worth the buck in my opinion.

Hhhhhmmmm so if that was true that he's not paying his fighters, still, wouldn't he be the one that has brought the best boxing events? Example: "Revenge: The Rematches", among others. Best fight cards in my opinion, too bad if he's not being fair with some of his fighters. Other promoters might be nicer but still, I don't think they bring GREAT fight cards, just the main event.

Don King is a crook plain and simple. He was one of MANY contributors to Tyson's downfall. The man's got hundreds of allegations of bribing the ranking organizations. I might be skeptical if it was a few, or even 10. Hell the man has killed 2 people. Each time getting his 8 figure lawyer to argue self defense each time.

Seems like he was not fair with his fighters, true, but still, I don't see any other promoter who has delivered the kind of fight cards Don King has. We have all these other promoters who will come up with a good fight but who's in the undercard? I have not seen great fight cards since Don King.
