Oscar decision id go for. But i wouldnt rule out a Tsyzu win!
KT in a rather impressive fashion.

Well i think Oscar got out of the 140lb division quick smart when he first saw Tszyu fight back in the mid 90's. He figured Whitaker wouldn't knock him out and fought him instead.Tszyu would have landed something very heavy if they had of fought so it's Tszyu for me. I also think that Mosley wanted no part of Tszyu either, another win for Tszyu if that fight had of taken place. The thing is Kostya has never fought at Welter so it would have to be 140lb for the prediction.
Obvious question. Oscar by UD.
Kostya for me. Look at his fights with southpaws (or in this case a fighter who adopted the southpaw stance) and guys who tried to box him.
Kostya by tko.
Good fight. Could go wither way, but even though I would root against him, I pick Oscar by a decision. Oscar was quick enough, and hit hard enough to keep Tszyu honest. Plus, at the time, Oscar was getting the decisions. I do think that both Oscar and Mosely didn't want to see Tszyu. I remember Zab Judah making a comment before him and Tszyu fought, saying that Mosely was hiding from him and Tszyu, and that's why he jumped to 147. I'm sure the money and fame of an Oscar fight helped, but thought I would add that in.
I can very much see that too, I would still pick Kostya but like you say Oscar was much quicker then and packed a punch himself. Good post, CCOriginally Posted by Unknowndonor
This is a great hypothetical matchup... It would depend on how Oscar was able to fight imo... If he tried to box too much and spent too much time looking to set up his left hook KT probably would have timed him from the outside and taken the decision... Kostya was never as effective when someone was able to get inside and apply constant pressure though.. Id call he vs De la Hoya a pickem.... But I definetly think Mosley would have beaten KT at 140 or welterweight... He was too strong and could take KT's best if he needed to. Kostya would not have stood up to Mosleys constant pressure imo.
Oscar has it on speed.
which everyone has the initials closest to.............KT![]()
