Default Just subscribed to Setanta - but not happy !

Took the fifteen quid deal for first three months - cheers Smash

but after that its 15 a month regardless ! Told them I was only interested in premiership football and none of their other channels (you get 9 in total). I don't want NASN, US PGA tour, Rangers TV , Celtic TV, racing channel etc...!

But thats the deal. They are basically going to be showing the 46 games on Saturday lunchtimes and tea times that SKy used to do on Premiership plus for 50 quid a season - to do it through them is 180 quid. Even the woman on the phone agreed that they should be doing a premiership football only deal !

What was more worrying is that you aren't going to be able to pay for individual events so if they get a big fight in the future you won't be able to just pay for that and will have to be a subscriber - which will no doubt be a 12 month minimum deal once this initial 3 month deal finishes. Have a couple of friends who just used to pay sky the 7 quid a game deal when Man U or Liverpool were on too - you won't be able to do that any more.

Am not happy about this These companies are taking piss and they know it

Ricky should get himself back on sky box office !!

    Ouch! That sounds grim.

Hopefully Setana will bomb over here (UK) and boxers will lose credibility by 'hiding' on a channel no-one watches.

However, like a lemming I will be so desperate to see Ricky I'll probably sell my soul for a 3am fightnight!

Just use sopcast to watch it live and then download it the next day. Why waste your earned cash on watching an old man and a fat man bump and grind with each other for 40 minutes?

yes i know that but its a special deal for introductory offer - don't get me wrong this is a good deal for the 3 months but its after that that it will be shite

what i'm saying is that in future you won't be able to pay the one off as you will have to be a subscriber (over 12 months possibly) to watch the big fights if they get any more

and its the football I am pissed off about
