Default Mayweather to Hatton "I'LL BEAT THAT ASS ALL THE WAY BACK TO ENGLAND!"

This is a boxingtalk members only interview with Floyd Mayweather, I'm only going to quote parts of it but if it's true I will be one happy motherf****r!

"He talked the talk. He tried to disrespect me on the network Saturday. Now all this punk has to do is sign a contract ASAP and that's his ass. I doubt he's going to step up to the plate because all he does is use my name to promote himself. We're going to find out very shortly if he really wants the fight. He signs the contract I promise you I'll beat that ass back to England," said Mayweather.

"Everybody knows I'm the crem de la crem, pound for pound the best in the world, hands down. If this chump wants a shot at the best, all his punk ass has to do is sign a contract ASAP and I'll show him what real body work is. Matter fact, I stop Ricky Hatton with a body shot."

Looks like we might get this fight after all! Only thing I disagree with is Floyd stopping Hatton with a body shot.

I couldn't not brag if Hatton beat the crap outta him. I'd go with Ricky too.

MAyweather has a big mouth. But he ain't met Ricky Hatton yet, and Ricky's power punching combined with his speed will catch Mayweather out in my opinion. Either way, if the fight gets made, at least we all get to see two of the best fighters in the world...with BOTH still in their prime clash in what can only be described as a 'superfight'.

Mayweather Ready To Silence ’The Hitman’

It seems that Ricky ’The Hitman’ Hatton’s comments about Floyd Mayweather Jnr following his destruction job on Jose Luis Castillo last weekend have tempted the pound for pound king out of retirement.

Only last month Mayweather Jnr announced he was retiring following his points win over Oscar De La Hoya but now his advisor Leonard Ellerbe has confirmed Mayweather is willing to face Britain’s No.1 fighter

Speaking to the New York Daily News, Ellerbe said: "He(Hatton) got Floyd’s attention. Now we’re calling his bluff,

"All he has to do is make a deal and he’ll have his chance to back up all that talk. All that’s standing between him and Floyd is air and opportunity.

"We can make the deal this week. He’s very, very disrespectful. He’s trying to promote himself off Floyd’s name.

"When we make the deal, we’ll show the world why he’s the most overrated fighter of this decade.

"Floyd has never taken any fight personally. But he’s taking this personally. Floyd is going to kick his butt.

"He said he only wants to fight the best - then sign the contract. Floyd’s going to show all his fans in Britain just what a phoney he is."

Mayweather had previously shown little interest in facing the British born fighter but all that changed the moment Hatton said there was more excitement in his four rounds with Castillo last weekend than in all Mayweather’s 38 previous fights put together.

I always wanted to see Mayweather v gatti II...

this is going to be a goddamned blowout...finally everyone will see why floyd should have taken the fight in the first place..the same why he shouldn't fight margarito..because they're not in his league..and the world will see mayweather stop hatton late...

I gotta laugh at how fickle the average fan is. Before Saturday barely anybody on here would give Ricky a prayer against Mayweather, now by stopping a washed up Castillo he's suddnely the favourite with most of you it seems

Hatton won't be doing squat if he gets in the ring with Floyd, Floyd will batter him.

To me he always was gonna have a great chance to beat Mayweather but he wasn't on people's radars, he needed this win for the noise to be made, and it's worked.

He's also much better than Gatti, not shot like Gatti, quicker, smarter etc etc.

I dont think The castillo win has changed much. Floyd would still be a strong favourite as he always has been. A few posters saying Hatton will win can hardly be described as a shift in balance.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
