Crespo killed in drive by shooting

Flyweight prospect Israel Omar “Chickie” Crespo was tragically killed in a drive by shooting while horseback riding Saturday with friends on a ranch outside Ponce, Puerto Rico. All three men were hit by spray of bullets from a passing car. Israel died later that evening from blood loss in the hospital. Crespo, 21 years old, was a highly decorated amateur who won virtually every title imaginable, including the junior worlds and the Junior Pan American title.

Maybe he was in the wrong place @ the wrong time? A gang member? Or didn't honor a fix fight (kinda like Bruce Willy's situation in Pulp Fiction)?
