    Default PBF or Hatton Fan

In preparation for the upcoming war between PBF and Hatton, I'd like to know the ratio of PBF fans to Hatton fans in this forum.

    Vote and know your numbers!

I voted Hatton. Im a massive Hatton fan ive seen nearly all his pro fights (only on DVD though I might add) and I am praying that he knocks Mayweather out in December. However anyone that knows anything about boxing cant help but admire Mayweathers boxing skills.

I voted for Hatton. Actually, I'll be a fan of ANYONE (Margo, Cintron, Cotto, Williams, etc.) who would take on PBF.

I'm NOT hating. But, wouldn't it be great to see PBF knocked out for the first time?

I'm completely a Hatton fan, he symbolises the working class hero and everything that's good about being British, apart from the pasty white skin of course .

Mayweather as a person in the media is one of the nastiest characters I know of that isn't a rapist or murderer, he's just a disgusting person, with no redeeming features. Obviously I don't know him personally so I can't fully pass judgement but I don't know how anyone could be a fan of the man. Obviously his ring craft is amazing, I could understand people loving to watch him box, but the only type of people I could imagine being actual fans are wannabe thugs, or people that will never back a person or team that might actually lose.
Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!

I'm a Floyd fan. Obviously I'm a Brit so if Hatton wins I'll be pleased for him but I don't like Hatton's style much wheras I think Floyd is ironically vastly underrated by most who just plain hate on him.

He's a virtuoso in the ring and I want to see him go down as one of the greatest of all time. I love watching him fight, he's the epitome of the sweet science of boxing and regardless of what other's think I find him exciting.

Yes he's cocky and arrogant but that's the mentality that got him to the top. I find him likeable and even endearing.

But if he's going to lose to anyone I'd like it to be to Ricky whose a great English lad and a fantastic sporting role model for kids in the UK.

Although Im rickys no.1 supporter 90% of the time Bibo gotta go against u here, Ricky is not a great role model for kids. The publicity wish surrounds his fondness for the black stuff has helped to promote the already disgusting drinking culture among the youth of Britain n Ireland. I dont like that.

I doubt very much that any kids growing up have been influenced to do so by Ricky Hatton mate, most probably don't know who he is and would much more likely get their role models from the worlds of pop and rap.

50 Cent, Tupac, Amy Whinehouse, Lilly Allen, Pete Docherty and the like are kids rolemodels nowadays.

If only kids these days were just into drinking

    Conservative? U mean like quiet?
I wouldn say that im overly quiet, i enjoy nightclubs and do my fair share of stupid stuff and that but the drinking culture among youths over here disgusts me. I have no problem with drinking, none at all, all my mates do, i mean i dont care, but young people gotta do it too excess, and they jus look stupid.
We were out in a club the last night, this girl comes up whispers in my ear "if u get me in il go home with you," i tell her get lost. My cousin tells me the next mornin the girl is 16!!!! I ask him how he new she was talkin to me, he goes "aaaaaahhhh..i didn pass her up on that offer."

My point is that the contingent of kids who do participate in boxing in Britain will be lookin upto one of three/four guys namely, Ricky, Joey C, Junior Witter and Enzo MAC. These kids could be potential health freaks but when they see their idol goin out and doin the dog on it, they'll think wow if the world champ can do it and be fit so can we.
Like i said its a small contingent that decide to box, just dont want to see those numbers diminished more by alcohol and substance abuse.
