Oh no definitely not..I had it 116-112 or 115-113 if I remember rightly for Sturm. He put out an awesome display that night. One thing that sticks out in my mind from that fight and probably anyone who's seen the fight will agree was Sturm's JAB!!! He was spiking Oscar with it all night long..Oscars head was being moved back everytime.
Sturm made a fan of me that night. Hope he can get back into the mix after his loss to Castillejo
Nope, that is officially on my robbery list.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
he just beat Castillejo in a rematchOriginally Posted by Althugz

Oscar has copped a couple of bad decisions in his career, Trinidad and Mosley 2 but no way he beat Sturm.
He got paid back big time in that one, i guess if he had lost the Hopkins fight would not have happened?
Still 160lb was not his go, he might have been better off losing.
Yeah he wanted to go after what he thought to be a weak 160lb champion to get a belt and then go after Hopkins. This was esentially supposed to be a tune-up fight for the Hopkins fight. I remember them interviewing Hopkins after round 9 or so and him talking about how the fight was making his 'blood pressure high' lol..guess he saw all those dollars waving goodbye.Originally Posted by THE THIRD MAN
It's a shame for Sturm..Oscar was never going to lose this fight by desision and jeapordize the fight with Hopkins.
In some respects since are we taking to much away from Oscar here? Sturm has proven to be a very good 160lb fighter and not the bum perhaps Oscar thought he was. Sturm would be a difficult opponent for Taylor, Pavlik and Abraham at 160.
I agree with all the comments so far he busted up Oscar with his jab Oscar would try and flurry but he was mostly ineffective i had Sturm easily winning by 3 rounds or 2 if i was being kind on Oscar this was for certain a robbery.
Definitely, like I said he made a fan of me that night. I was most impressed with how he handled his first big fight. Only 20 fights into his career and his first time in Vegas taking on and clearly beating the most decorated and celebrated boxer at the moment. Speaks volumesOriginally Posted by THE THIRD MAN
Strum won. He's a good fighter. It's to bad he has no heart. He was offered $750,000 a couple of years ago to fight Taylor and turned it down. He's seems happy defending his title against obscure fighters. He stepped up against Castillejo thinking Castillejo was shot and got his ass laid the fuck out. He won the rematch but he should of never of lost the first one. Strum seriously needs to step up his competition level.Originally Posted by THE THIRD MAN

Any of these fights would be good for him.
I didn't know that he was offered a Taylor fight, he should be fighting these guys now!Originally Posted by Violent Demise
I'm sure that Mick had Oscar winning by an even wider margin...
Awful Oscar performance. I had Sturm by 2 points.
