Doesn't seem to be many options for him. I get the feeling he's content with what he's acheived, that's why he's targeting the other old timers. The main guys in the division at the moment IMO are B-hop (he's got no chance of getting him) and Dawson (who I think he might manage to get in the ring).
It's a shame really, I thought he really turned a corner from the fight he won the title onward, but has lost all momentum after his lay-off, and actually gone backwards by fighting a guy he convincingly beat the first time. The big fights are going to be really difficult for him to make now.
Well Dawson is a big fight and he's dyiong to prove himself so id say that could happen, but i doubt Dawson would leave the US

He should position himself to fight the winner of Jone v Tito and fight the next high profile light heavy in the world which is ?
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Tarver option is gone he's just scheduled a fight.

Can't really see a particularly good fight for Clinton, which is disappointing as I genuinely like the guy and the way he has boxed.
Unless Joe fancies a final hurrah with him?!
Has there been any more 'news' on against who, and a potential date where we will see Clinton back in the ring.
Glen Johnson is his No 1 challanger maybe we could have Woods-Johnson 52??![]()
If Woods really is after Tarver, I guess Danny Green leaving Tarver in the lurch, and Tarver fighting another second-rate fighter could leave him open to wanting a shot at Woods.
After the Gonzalez fight, I was led to believe Hobson was negotiating a unification with Dawson. Despite what people think of Woods, he is the longest reigning champion in the division, and Dawson will be looking for more exposure after being overshadowed by Taylor-Pavlik on the other channel for his last fight.
I would imagine the fight would be in the U.S. Woods was originally meant to defend against Gonzalez in Vegas, so I'm sure the location won't matter that much.
