Default Mayweather-Hatton was similiar to Holmes-Cooney

This fight reminded me of Holmes-Cooney. Surfing the net and checking out various boxing forums, I couldn't help but notice the RASCIAL tension this bout was creating. I saw RASCIAL slurs being directed at both races by both races. This fight was built as Good(Ricky)vs Bad(Floyd) by the media, and black vs white by MOST fans! First of all Hatton's like Cooney's fans were misled by the HYPE generated by the media into beleiving their guy had a chance to win! The media creates smoke screens that make people beleive BULLSHIT! To HONESTLY think Hatton could beat Mayweather could've only been the result of beleiving the BULLSHIT you was hearing and not the FACTS you knew! The WHOLE world knew Mayweather was the bigger, faster man, the better boxer and had faced the tougher opponents of the two. So how the hell did so many people fall for beleiving Hatton could possibly WIN. I guess the title UNDEFEATED did its job! It fooled people into beleiving this was an A class fighter vs an A class fighter. This was an A class fighter(Floyd) vs a C class opponent! A class fighters are suppose to knock C class opponents out! Like Holmes did Cooney and just like Mayweather did to Hatton! Dont let the media fool you guys no more! Next they will tell you that Hopkins will lose to Calzaghe, and not tell you that Hopkins has never lost to a southpaw and also he's one of the most craftiest players in the game! Again, DON'T BELEIVE THE HYPE!

Only difference was Cooney had a slight chance of winning and Hatton had zero chance of winning imo.

big difference. In cooney/holmes both guys slugged it out. In hatton/mayweather there was only 1/10th of the action and way too much holding.

There was no mention of anything to do with race in the UK..... why would there be?

There shouldn't have been talk of race anyway- just look at how every Heavyweight Champion is White now. Looks like it's anybody's game at anytime.
