1. Ricardo Lopez
2. Carlos Zarate
3. Salvador Sanchez
4. Julio Cesar Chavez
5. Ruben Olivares
This is a tough list to make.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
you did say skilled and not tough face first boxer?Originally Posted by Ricardo "Finito" Lopez

Ricardo Lopez is well was a complete fighter ,
Sanchez definatly these r 1-2
the rest up for debate
Number one and Number 2 are a hard debate to say the least....The thing about Sanchez that always comes up is the obvious..."As good as he was he had not peaked yet"...That always gives the could you imagine factor.....

On skills alone heres how I'd list them......
1. 'Finito' Lopez
2. Salvador Sanchez
3. Gilberto Roman
4. Ruben Olivares
5. Miguel Canto
Killer I complete disagree with Zarate coming in at #2.Originally Posted by killersheep

I especially him over fighters like Sal, JCC, 'El Puas'....
Gotta agree with Missy here. Morales was a brawler first and he did have skills but to be at #5 all time I would say is too high. The key word here is skills. Not career, or who beat who. Just skills.....Originally Posted by Missy
Eriks my fav. Bantam all time but....
MAB was more skilled then Erik
Saldivar was more skilled then Erik
Canto was more skilled the Erik
Roman was more skilled then Erik
I would say JMM is one of the most skilled fighters of this/his time so arguably I can see someone having him at #4.

When Morales used his skills he certainly was well up there. Morales had better boxing skills than MAB he didn't use them as often but he had better skills IMO.Originally Posted by CutMeMick
Whoever does not have Chavez in their top 5 is wrong, Julio was very good and his skill is what allowed him to stand in there with superior athletes such as Meldric Taylor
I'm sorry but your waaay off on this one for me......Originally Posted by Ricardo "Finito" Lopez
I'm a die hard Erik fan as I said to me hes the greatest All Time - Bantam. I hated the shit! out of MAB at one point couldn't stand the fucker...
But now that I'v come to my sensus I've realized how skilled and talented MAB was.
Erik was never one to outbox someone, tho he did have the skills (As I mentioned in my previous post) he brawled by choice.
My moneys on that MAB would have beaten Zahir would he have fought Zahir. Erik looked like a kid trying to catch a chicken just no sense of direction what so ever. Erik at his best was the 1st Pac fight that was amazing.
Erik always out gunned his opponents he was a punching machine. He head hunted faaar too much he would forget to attack the body and concentrated more on head volume punching.
While MAB never forgot to go to the body his jab was phenomenal throught his whole career and he moved exceptionally well in that ring.
But again your going on what you've seen....
