My dad is a weightlifter and said the best way is too eat a lot of dairy products like eggs and especially milk. He eats a lot of chicken caz he says theres a lot of protein in it.
Chickens good
Had some after my beach session on sunday, ate it too quick.
Didn't think chicken was to good for the rest of the night![]()

I've heard P-nut butter helps. Eat lots of protein, and you should try weightlifting if you're not doing it already.
peanut butter is good, but it has a lot of fat per serving. At least most popular brands, if you want to just get protein without the fat, get pure peanut butter.. tastes like shit, but it works, with a lot less fat. But honestly, if you want to gain muscle like you seem to want to, your going to have to suck it up and take shakes. Yea, I know they taste terrible, but that is the only way to get the protein you need to make serious gains. Other then that, lots of chicken, but try to stay away from fried chicken. Grilled is always my favorite. Plan your meals out a week ahead of time, stick to it. Try to eat at least 1 1/2 grams of protein for every pound you weigh.
actually, regular chocolate creme Myoplex or just about any Myoplex tastes good i think, with milk and not water. chicken breast is very good for protein and especially eggs since they have very complete protein. eat 5 eggs with just one yolk.
set up a lifting schedule something like this:
mon-chest, tris
tus-back,bis
wed-abs, shoulders
thurs-legs
fri through sun- rest
try not to exceed 12 sets for the same muscle group.
this is just a 4 day but can be changed depending on how much time you have
usually, if you hit the same muscle group more than once a week you are overtraining unless you are taking roids
btw this is not boxing specific, just set up for best gains... add plyometrics for explosiveness for boxing
remember, you gain new muscle when you are resting
