Bobby Czyz

Can any of the American lads help me with the condition of Bobby Czyz?


I read a few months back that he had been involved in a 'fiery' car crash, but I'm having trouble finding any info online.

Does anybody know how he's doing?

Czyz was one of my favourite analysts when he was working and is responsible for my some of my favourite pieces of commentary on my DVD of Kostya Tszyu/Migel Angel Gonzalez.

and,

"I'm not sure Gonzalez has faced anyone who hits quite this hard, quite this often."


Seems he had quite a problem with the bevy though, and multiple drink driving convictions.

I will always remember Czyz for accusing Evander Holyfeild of secretly rubbing poison on his glove in order to blind Czyz in there mid 90's fight.

As if a 1996 Holyfeild needed any help disposing of Czyz


The weird thing about his accident is that it was not reported until a month after it happened. The lack of news coverage is quite strange.

Yeah, that was kinda crazy of Bobby to say that Holyfield used poison on his gloves when everyone knows that in fact Holyfield really just used tobasco sauce. Holyfield was afraid of Bobby. We all know it.
