I used to think and actually debated with one of the best posters here(Amat) about the lack of quality in the cruiserweight division a year or 2 ago. How wrong was I?! This division is looking pretty dam good. What do you guys think of it>?

i've liked them for a while, lot of good fights there the last few years.
It's definitely quality at the moment, though some guys still use iot as stepping stone. Get entertaining fights there even if the fighters aren't genuine contenders since thery're powerful but with much less of the hugfests we get at heavyweight.
You can make a case that it's a more exciting division right now than LHW. There is a quality unified champ taking on a real top challenger (Haye v Enzo), and a handful quality fighters who have taken up long term residence in the division (Bell, Mormeck, Cunningham) to go along with a good former LHW champ who has moved up (Adamek).
And there's always the Ding-a-Ling man. He's always good for nice FnF event.
The Cruiserweight division has been pretty good for a couple of years already
I actually think the Cruiserweight division is doing great, in the 90s it was considered one of the weakest divisions. In fact it hadn't been an interesting division since Holyfield ruled the division in the 80s. It picked up when Toney and Jirov battled in that terrific fight, then it went in a slump again. But now it has really picked up in the last 2 years, we have seen some great fights like the two Mormeck vs Bell fights and Haye vs Mormeck, now we are seeing Enzo vs Haye who are the two biggest bangers of there division by far, and it has FOTY written all over it, overall its a great division at the moment but i think it might lose some of its appeal when Hayes moves to Heavyweight.
