Default I Think Theres A Slight Chance Peter May Get Ktfo

if the fight doesnt end fast, and i would expect peter to be able to end it in 3, i think peter may get caught inside, i dont think he can take an uppercut well based on the mccline incident

Big Foot has been knocked out before.
    Peter hasn't.

    But

The fact that Teddy Atlas picked Peter to win by first round knock out, (now the fighter is jinxed) Teddy hasn't made a correct prediction since 1906

I will take big foot in a ko early in this fight. As you said, Peter will get caught.

PS. I think that even you and VD have gotten more predictions correct than Teddy has.
    LMAO!

Danny, he came pretty close though against Mccline. It was wierd, he was all over the place. Very unexpected. Just led to more confusion in the heavyweight division!

B4 the McCline fight I thought this one would be an easy fight for Peter, now I'm not so sure...Peter was knocked silly by the light hitting McCline and it he wasn't hurt just once by a lucky shot, Jameel hurt him repeatedly...Maskaev is a big hitter and a well schooled boxer which are too things that are not in Peter's favor...On Peter's side Oleg does stand right in front and does get hit so it comes down to a matter of who gets hit first, imo...I'm taking Maskaev because I believe his skills will be the deciding factor and he stops Peter within 6 rounds.

it seems like its not even an unpopular view now that maskaev has a chance

i would have thought before the mccline fight that peter would destroy maskaev

i dont think peter can take an uppercut, i think each time he was hurt by mccline it was an uppercut that did it

some douchebag writer on boxingtalk wrote "peter should KO maskaev" pretty much giving oleg no chance, or props hardly for his experience, and was kinda insulting him.

    fuck that.

i say this fight is dead even. and i give oleg a great chance to win.
id fuckin love to see peter get knocked out.
    he's an asshole.

I have the same thinking as you about the match-up, it may well come down to who lands 1st. But I'm going the other way & think Peter gets it done

Peter pretty much sucks, his power and chin are way overrated. With that said, I still think he wins this. Just be virtue of being the younger, bigger guy, he should be able to wear Maskaev down and eventually get him to quit.
