He is a very very average fighter
..a low key somewhat easy bout is exactly what this guy needs right now.

" ive got the hunger back "
Probably Broke!!
I will say that as a manfredo fan, covering the fight tomorrow, that I am frankly apauled at 170 LBS. It makes a fan(a knowlegeable on I like to think) question how serious about boxing he really is.

Super Bum got the hunger back? Hunger for what? To get his ass kicked again? Boy talks like if he was actually good at one time or something.

I guess so, he came in overweight for supermiddleweight. He weighed 170...why? Didn't he just start saying he was going down to middleweight? Not off to the best start but hopefully he can save face and whoop Benefield pretty bad.
Well...even an eating disorder like James Toneys wouldn't help Manfredo to get any better...Man...Markus Beyer would beat Manfredo...
I'm sorry Pride...but it had to be said...

I'm completely ignorant about his opponent, bar the usual Boxrec scourings. But I read the card is not to be televised. Funny things can happen at non-televised events; the scourge of the trusting, honest-to-goodness PL competitor.
I've commented here often on how I feel Manfredo's primary problem is his weight.
He recently said he likes tyo trin at home as he can be near his family and friends and the food he likes.
Thats exactly why he needs to get a training camp in somewhere ice and hot away from home, he needs focus a hard camp and motivation.
I weigh 154 this year for competition. I met Manfredo in Cardiff before the Calzaghe fight and I towered above him and my shoulders were nearly as broad as his. He's not a super middleweight, he's not even a middleweight.
He could be a good Light Middleweight.

Manfredo has weight in at 170lbs that far to heavy for him.
The only hunger he has is for a nice veal saltimboca from some joint on Federal Hill.
Too bad, I'd like the guy, but it's the truth.
