Just wondering how many times did Frank Bruno fight Lennox Lewis and what fight if it was more than once was billed as The Battle of Britain? Thanks in advance.

Terrahawks! Stay on this channel! This is an emergency!
According to boxrec, they fought once.
Lennox Lewis
Did you meet Morrison yet?
They fought once in 92 or 93 not sure which...Was during Lennox first go around as champion...Lennox was not quite the ATG he eventually became.....Was a close fight until Lennox just decided to go all out on Bruno and score a stoppage.....Some say Bruno was even winning the fight up until that point...The last round Bruno had him until Lennox came back....Bruno took a bad beating before the stoppage...Hellacious shots....

They only had one fight and although Bruno lost he probably put in his best ever performance. Bruno was winning the fight until Lewis stepped up a gear and let rip with some tremendous punches.
It was a pretty cold night when they fought and the fighters were wrapped in blankets between rounds.

No doubt. This was an ugly and sudden ending.Back in Lewis's Clumsy 2 left feet days,(Sorry Daxx).Hard luck Bruno fought his heart out and I actually had him up by a point until Lightning struck.Lewis was measuring him with the left like mad and closed the show.Ok,So were his eyes actually closed when he launched the left or was it folk lore Lol.
Great fight, Lewis really upset Bruno in the run up to that fight calling him an Uncle Tom.
After the knockout All Bruno kept saying was 'I ain't no Uncle Tom, I ain't no Uncle Tom',
It devastated him, he even sued over it but dropped the case I think.
Actually you could possibly see there signs already of Frank's fragile mental state.

I know your big fan of Lewis Daxx but i have to be honest with you mate i think Lewis was quite poor against Bruno. His balance was poor and he was badly getting out jabbed. He was also rocked a few times as well. Props to Lewis for coming back though but still i did think it was a little poor in this fight.
Lennox stank against Bruno, he was beaten to the punch and was outjabbed.
Two words for it, Pepe Correa.
By all accounts Lennox was not 100% fit for the fight, due to illness, and it being a cold night out in the open didn't help him.

Agreed Pepe was crap for Lennox, his strategy for the McCall fight at the end of the first round was to tell Lennox to knock out Oliver. Great advice. Total dick. Pepe use to stand in the ring as if he was fighting. Total prick. If Lennox did not get rid of him he would have ended up like Bowe.
