Possible Margarito VS Cotto?

How intriguing is this match-up after watching their latest fights..

i mean, who the FUCK wants to fight margarito after what he just did to cintron.. He took cintron's shots and kept coming and pursued his game plan until he reach his goal/stoppage..

I think cotto/margarito would be a fantastic matchup for a June/July card.. Hoping Margarito wins, but if Cotto wins that will only make pressure Mayweather even more to put up his titles for a Cotto bout

Cotto will prevail if he fights Margarito.
As I've said before the only boxer I can see beating Cotto is PBF if they fight this year.
But again time can beat PBF and the more the time passes the better the chances are that Cotto can beat PBF.


I'm not too sure how 154 would suit Cotto being that he's like 5' 7" but I think he beats Forrest and Philips at 154 and a handful of the top guys.

And I love Miguel but Tony is going to KTFO him out.No doubt about it. If Cotto boxes,he'll get trapped on the ropes and destroyed. If he brawls,he'll go the way of Cintron. Tony has fought bigger,taller,slicker guys,faster guys and more importantly,more powerful guys(Cintron sticks out). Had Kermit hit ANYONE else in the whole division with those shots,including Cotto,they would have been out of there. Instead,Tony smiled,took them and wore him out.

Don't get me wrong Puya,you know I love Cotto but Tony's style is all wrong for him. Factor in Marg's chin and stamina and the fact that Cotto has been wobbled by Judah,who doesn't hit as hard as a naturally strong Ww lke Tony and I just think Tony wins.

I'll be rooting for both,maybe a bit more for Margarito because he's not as popular and has never gotten the credit he deseves. ALWAYS in exciting fights. Tough as nails. Punching him looks like punching a brick wall! I love the trademark thing he does,when you land cleanely and he nods and smiles thn wacks you in the face. Classic Tony.

And IF Cotto comes into to throw bodyshots,he'll be eating them back and eating uppercuts too,which he is wide open to.If he boxes,like I siad,Tony will trap him on the ropes and do devestation.

Now that all that is out of the way allow me to start by saying YOU'RE A FREAKING MORON! (don't get offended, you're just going to have to trust that I'm still friendly eventhough I may use strong words to get my point across)


Antonio Margarito has NOTHING for Floyd....it would be a replay of Floyd-Baldomir.

As for Margarito-Cotto, there is nothing certain about either fighter winning but the way Margarito likes to fight on the inside even though he has long arms and is tall, he fights close and in a semicrouch.....those things are giving away his physical attributes and Miguel Cotto is way too good of a fighter to not exploit those flaws in Margarito's strategy. margarito also throws wide punches and they aren't crisp....sure they have power behind them but Cotto's power is quicker, sharper, but lands with the same if not more power.....and Cotto can box pretty well.

Margarito has a hell of a chin but let's see how his ribs like being tickled by a Miguel Cotto left hook.....once he's done puking on the canvas and being counted out we'll make sure to ask him
