Once again there were a few moments where Joe looked like a teenage girl in a fight, throwing windmilling noodle arm punches. Should boxers adapts to this style to outscore their opponents like Joe does? I couldn't believe the crowd and the announcers reactions to the glancing flurries. After re-watching the fight a few times I keep getting a 114-113 score for B-Hop. Don't get me wrong JC can throw good punches, its just when he flurries they have nothing on them, and those go to the damn compubox numbers which make rounds look Joe won em. I saw him throw a punch like he was playing whack-a-mole....then the announcer say's he's trying to chop down his opponent...

Yeah B-Hop didn't know if it was ok for him to hit a girl so he held back. B-Hop was right though he never lost to a whiteboy.

I am not a fan of Calzaghe's, but I don't dislike him. I was happy when he beat Hokpins.

But he does swing like a girl at times...looks especially bad when he misses! I remember they showed a slow motion replay during the fight of Calzaghe missing with a bunch of goofy looking..."punches" even think he threw a backhanded slap in there which also missed lol.


But when you watch the lacy fight those same punches look phenomenal. I think calzaghe looked especially sloppy because hopkins is a cagey old bastard.

Well right now that girl has beaten 45 opponents and is perhaps the greatest middleweight champion of all time.....Not bad if you ask me

What about the way Hopkins would drop his head and rush in with his eyes closed while swinging like a girl? You did not see this? You need me to make you a video where he does this over and over? I belive it was in the break in the later rounds when they should Joe C throwing on of his flurries. He looked like a kitten playing with a string. No wonder why he couldnt hurt Hopkins. They should put him in with Winky. Two slappers.

No way Winky is not a slapper. Winky has a stiff jab and a good cross and he goes to the body nice on the inside. I don't get the notion that Winky is a slapper, he does slap occasionally but not near as much as it's made out to be. It's just he doesn't get KO's because that's not his style, he still can inflict damage though.

Ya know...?I never thought of it in that way.But at times The palms are up and its almost a side ways chop motion.To much reliance on the showy multi burst on that Pad with all the numbers in pre fight....Like his Overleft with power though.
