Default Alex Arthur installed as new WBO champ

From the views expressed in earlier posts I was lead to believe that the delayed fight was more of Warren and Arthur's work than Guzman's

Is this just another piece of boxing politics, as I am still yet to see anybody back Arthur in the match against Guzman.

Guzman should now just step up to lightweight and challenge Campbell who is crying out for a matchup.

Arthur doesn't deserve it he isn't world class, exciting ?? yes but nowhere near world class.

I imagine him to lose it in his first defense, but you never know..

he looked crap in his last fight. Struggles to make the weight, on top of limited ability, but he is entertaining, just hope he gets a decent fight next.

He wont keeep the belt for very long ,soon as he fights someone with world class talent i expect him to lose. His chin is poor and he is to easy to hit.Frank Warren will get him a few easy defences before he loses i expect.

The side of boxing i really just cannot stand..

Mandatory challenger becomes a world champion just because the actual champ couldnt come over and defend.

what about the whole 12month rule that fighters used to get why hasnt joan played that card??

Once again the real champion gets bummed over while 2 nobodys meet up in glasgow for a world championship??
