"It wasn't the night of the jab"
I very much doubt it.
He seems like the sorta guy that is true to his word. I think he actually will try and goe toe to toe with hatton...should be brutal.
"It wasn't the night of the jab"
i don't see it happening, Hatton will put on a great show.
Yes he can Juan Lazcano is a tough fighter and was pretty good back in his Lightweight days, but saying that Lazcano's best performances were at Lightweight he spent majority of his career at that weight. And since moving up he hasn't really made any noise. I also think his best days are behind him, i expect Hatton to win but not as easily as some people expect.
He could hang with viv harris when they fought a little while back and if he had of pushed that little bit more coulda got the decision but hatton is better then harris and in his prime like niether harris or lazcano..
And he will be true to his word and stand with hatton, its a style that works well for him and hes a tough fighter but i dont see him winning more then 3 odd rounds..
I just think its happened for him already and he'll be stopped late..
It'll be entertaining though i think.. Hes got a good style to match up with and its a name for hattons rec to pad his record before some bigger fights..
Immortal Technique
Not one single panic.....
I don't see how some people feel that Lazcano can posses any threat to Hatton.
I really want Hatton to lose! The guys a good fighter but I hate him and his fans.
No. I would be shocked if he did. If Hatton hasn't started to fade then Lazcano should be made for him.
The hispanic isnt capable of causing any panic cuz he doesnt have the capability to do so.
He's lost to guys that went on to lose to the big names so he never quite made it. Harris beat him and then got knocked out by Witter . Castillo also beat Lazcano and went on to get knocked out by Hatton.
Its not a good fight IMO but Im still gonna buy it cuz im a sucker for these things. Big crowd good atmos but the action wont be great . Laz will put up resistance for a few rounds then predictably crumble. The only drama I envision is if Rickys gets cut . Otherwise a straight forward fight which sets up the formailty of a Malignaggi fight later in the year .
what time does the fight start in the UK?
I understand the Witter argument but i don't understand the Castillo argument. Lazcano lost to Castillo at Lightweight when Castillo was in his prime at his prime weight. That was 3 years before Castillo fought Hatton, where he obviously wasn't comfortable at the weight and looked like a shot fighter in his previous fight to the Hatton one.
He will cause panic in his corner.
