Default Hatton was back as his old self last night!

He impressed me greatly. His power and speed was at the top and there was hardly any clinching go on. Juan Lazcano was doing it more than Ricky. He looked really up for it and in my eyes certainly showed why he is the best at 140. Juan gave him a very tough fight but Ricky worked well to keep trading with him even when hurt. The ref did give Juan a bit of a talking to, but with the shoe lace, I think that it acceptable because if you think about it like this if he had carried on, what would have happend if his shoe came off? That would have wasted even more time...

I believe that Ricky performance was similar to Ray Olivera one. A very tough fight but Hatton was in control. Thats the Hatton that I remember, pure exciment. He could hands down beat Paul Malignaggi after seeing him last night, he was a joke, with his hair and prep for the fight. I know Ricky is back now and can challenge the best at 140. Bring on anybody for Hatton now.

    WELL DONE !

I actually have no idea what he was thinking. He was lucky to get away with a SD IMO.

But Hatton came out with a lethal pace early and compared with other fights he didnt look as tierd as he has been, ie Juan Urango...

I thought he did amazing, some people from what I have read just talk complete shit, I didnt see Junior Witter doing well or the other top man Paul Malignaggi. Hatton was dominant last night and that was made very clear. He would beat anybody at 140 with a performance like last night, he showed his stamina was still there and that was very encourging for Ricky.

    ello strangers ;o)

all that money to whatch a ****in screen!

you could see the fight and punches landed but not well enough to see how well they'd landed. the coms was a shit venue for boxing!

i think hatton won by miles walked into a hella lot of shots and left his left body wide open, he was rocked a few times i was shakin (not just cause it was freezin) cryin prayin. i just wanted it to end. alot of hatton fans had seriously underestimated the chose juan lol, some even described him as nothing but a punchbag!

i thought he was a couragus (sp) man who never gave up. he has a chin of stone.

hatton walked into alot of shots but if he wouldnt have i think the fight would have been the nights saving grace it was. i have never seen hatton utilise his jab like that before either.

i had n'dou as the winner but a split decision shows how close it was. and i had predicted that paulies stupid hairdo would cause troubles.

Im not sure if that is Hatton back to his best but it was definitely more like it. He worked for 12 rounds and looked good throwing some of those combinations. There are some things he could work on before we see him again. Less leaping hooks, even more jabbing, more head movement, making sure he gets another fight on the table before he balloons up.

Hatton looked good all things considered, but Lazcano isnt the bees knees and hasnt fought in a long time himself. Hatton needs to sharpen up a bit more, but yeah, I was pleased with how he fought.

I think he fought very well, his punches seemed alot more accurate, maybe that's the new pad work paying off, but like others had said he got tagged alot, lazcano maybe didn't have the power but what if he fought someone with a bigger shot? Granted there isn't alot of people in light-welter who hit equal to hatton.

Based off Malignaggi's performance Hatton would dominate him, but if paulie fought with the style he did against cotto he'd have a much better shot.

He was sharp and accurate. Landed 36% of his punches which is pretty good. Lazcano was lucky not to be stopped at times. He gave a great performance too.

Hatton would murder Paulie. I'm very confident in that.
