A heads up for the Tyson fans (Cannes festival documentary)

The new Tyson Documentary shown at Cannes Film Festival comes out June 16th,

i dont think that one on the link for play.com is the right one, it says it was made in 1995 if you check the details, and also has michael jai-white in it so i think thats more a film of his life ( as apposed to an actual documentary) , they probably have them mixed up i would think and hopefully its is the documentary out on the 16th

interesting! so is it a documentory about his life from early on to now or is it like a documentory of his current life with all the ups and downs mostly downs unfotunately

I think your right though that they have just mixed it up, why would something made in 1995 come out now ? unless it is a vhs to dvd release.. also a bit coincidental that it comes out on the 16th , same as the other one

I read that it was extremely well received when screened at the Cannes festival, apparently it got a major standing ovation.. I'm quite interested to see it, I've always thought a movie/documentary based on Tysons rise and fall could be excellent if done well.

Mike Tyson has been so publicized and so many books and mini documentaries have been done on him I do not know if there is really anything left to tell.

Same story different light is all I suppose.

I would give it a good watch though. If it is about boxing and a former world champion especially I can not resist.
