    Default teddy atlas workout system

Anybody seen the new teddy atlas workout system Not that im thinking of buying one or anything just wondered what you think about the number system and the effectiveness of this.I believe this was the sort of system that tyson used for combination punching.I cant get my head around the position of the numbers yet as i normally hit the same spot on the bag for a left jab right cross combination but i can see the thinking behind the high jab.Teddy Atlas Everlast Workout System

yes you could easily put numbers on youre own heavy bag,but it was the position of the numbers that i dont understand.

i am assuming that they correspond to the usual 1=jab 2= cross 3=left hook etc with maybe a right hook or overhand thrown in amongst the left and right upper cut. still say when you go fro a human you won't be aiming straight down the pipe but off to the side like..unless you are fighting the calf-headed man..

    uhh no.

what you training a jab for a guy with a two foot wide head same for cross do that enough, and you will start throwing straight punches anything but straight...this throws off body mechanics and sooner or later you will regret it.

It says in the specs. "Specially designed Uppercut Bag" which it does kinda look like it might be good for that? Dunno.

I wouldn't shell out 200 bucks for it but I might like to try it out.
