    Default Sven Ottke the greatest!!

Sven Ottke is easily the best super middle weight of all time and should be up there with the all time greats.
His record speaks for itself he repeatidly beat the top contenders with ease and was avoided by Joe Calzaghe for years as the Welshman feared losing his belts.
He also held the IBF and WBA belts while Calzaghe was playing around with the less favoured WBO belt.
If Ottke really does come out of retirement i hope he fights Calzaghe because i think he would still have the tools to beat him, in fact probably TKO him.
He held the IBF world title for 6 years defending it 20 times and his record speaks for itself with fighters like Glenn Johnson (another person who Calzaghe avoided) Anthony Mundine, Charles Brewer, Byron Mitchell, Robin Reid, Mads Laursen, David Starie and Rick Thornberry.

    It cannot be denied!

All fighters have to have some luck, he had no more gifted decisions then Calzaghe had over Robin Reid or Bernard Hopkins

WTF ? It seems your up Ottke's ass big time, not only did he avoid Calzaghe but he should have 3/4 losses on his resume and he stayed in Germany the whole time to make sure he wouldn't lose his '0'. Controversial or not Calzaghe/Hopkins, at least Calzaghe went to the US to fight him. If you fought Sven Ottke you simply had to knock him out to get a draw.

Not all his fights were in Germany he fought in Austria once too, because he chose not to use his power much, which its clear he had from the Mundine fight, he would accumulate his punches to win rounds. I cant see any fights where i see he clearly lost but was gifted a decision. All fighters have close fights now and again, i dont see where you get the figure of 3 or 4 fights he shouldve lost.
He often had to fight through things like people cheating like Robin Reid hitting him with low blows and rabbit punches. He should have been disqualified!

Yes, lots of fighters choose not to throw their power punch and throw powder puff punches instead. And Robin Reid should have been disqualified for fighting, or at least attempting to start a fight. Luckily the referee prevented that from happening.

    what drugs are you on?

Robin Reid lost points for hitting ottke. The ref in that fight was a fucking discrace and the verdict was disgraceful.

As Reid said after the bout about the judges "At least Dick Turpin wore a mask when he robbed people"

Ottke was offered his biggest ever pay day and home advantage against Calzaghe and he chose not to accept it.

    Calzaghe has never avoided anyone.
