Loved watching him in the mid 80's- 90's, but now i feel he looked much better than he actually was.

One of the most exiting boxers ever, very skilled in his prime when he had confidence and dicipline. Shame it all went tits up like it did and he started eating people in the ring or snapping their arms off lol.

He is one of my fav's exitement wise, even when he fought inferior opposition I paid to watch it.

Exactly. He would be ideal in this day and age. He was exciting and could punch extremely hard, But as dark lord rightly said he LOOKED much better than he really was.

The problem is for Mike Tyson is that at the time he come along most of the 80s Heavyweight talent were shot fighters and plus Mike Tyson never beat a great fighter in there prime so we will never know how good he really was because he was never really tested and i think you only see the best in a fighter when there severely challenged because you see there heart, will, and you see them got into another gear amongst plenty of other things sadly for Mike Tyson his era wasn't that great so there was no fighter at that time to really teste but in my opinion he could of been of the best Heavyweights ever and only very few Heavyweights could beat Mike Tyson at his peak.

The young wreckless Lennox Lewis would of been KO'ed and so would the older more intelligent Lewis even when Lewis went with Steward he still got caught against lesser fighters and was hurt against Ray Mercer Shannon Briggs Zeljko Mavrovic and against an older Evander Holyfield and as for Evander Holyfield he could fight smart but often he let his pride get in the way and he took far too much punishment like against Bert Cooper Alex Stewart just to name a few and no one could get brave and stand toe to toe with a prime Mike Tyson in my opinion anyway.

it has taken all this time for someone else to finaly say this guy's threads are a complete waste of time. That He brings nothing to any debate and purly asks a question and never gives any real opinion on it backed upp with an explanation.
