That was the 1st time I saw him fight as well; I believe it was early 2000. I think that is the only loss Martinez has on his record Knocked him out in the 7th or 8th round. Been a while since I saw it.

Yes i believe your right Segio Gabriel Martinez was a good boxer and had some good skills and for Antonio Margarito to beat down a good boxer like that said alot about him as a fighter and i was sold on him from that point on.

Yeah my friend down the street from me liked him and that's where I saw that fight. Haven't seen all of his fights since, but been a rabid follower since early 2005. It was hard because when he fought Cintron I liked both of them.
