Default Cintron's promoter wants Cotto vs. Cintron late this year

Lou DiBella, Kermit Cintron's promoter announced that he wants to make Cotto vs. Cintron in November or December this year.

I think this will be a good fight between two tough boricuas and former champs at that...

I'd like to hear comments from Puerto Rican boxing fans... Pitting 2 top tough boricuas is very interesting fight...

I don't think Kermit is that of a Top Boricua. Cotto will do the same he did to Margarito the only thing is that Margarito right now is the only boxer who can take that sort of damage Cotto hit him with. Kermit will Yield like 99.8% of them.

Forget this, I want Cotto-Williams. Lets see who earns the right to fight Margarito a second time.

I think a fight between the 2 victims (Cotto and Cintron) of Margarito is the more logical fight.

Paul Williams beat Margarito... Tho Cotto beat Quintana who then beat Williams, Williams also beat Quintana in the rematch via a very convincing 1st round KO...

Why does Williams have to earn a fight with Margarito? He already beat him. Cotto - Cintron is a great fight I would look forward to it. Margarito should rematch Williams, although I wouldn't take anything away from any of those fighters taking an easier fight at this point, they've all earned it.

Considering Williams won, hasn't he already earned the right to fight Margarito again? If anything, I'd say Margarito just earned the right to fight Williams a 2nd time.

    But Cotto-Williams wouldn't be a bad match-up.
    Oops

I consider Kermit a top boricua (he's a former champ and easily among the top 8 welters). His height and reach advantages will pose problems for Cotto...

Cintron is a much more accurate puncher with devastating power. Cotto is the better fighter but i can see Kermit landing before Cotto gets inside to work. The question is will Cottos questionable chin stand up? i think it wont.
