Default Paddy Barnes gets first medal for Ireland!

Paddy Barnes just won his quater final, hence sure of at least a bronze medal! we also have Egan and Sutherland fighting today and tomorrow in quaters, to think 3 Irish medals

    11 - 5, he boxed perfectly!
Hands up, but not too far so he still let them go!
The pole had beateb hi last year (heavily,) but Paddy came back and dominated! Really dominated!

Egan is up next, I think at 2.15 or so.
    (Thats clashing with Hession's race!)

If it's yellow, let it mellow... If it's brown, invite me 'round...

I sincerely doubt we'll get the three.

Egan should win his*, he's had a favourable draw being matched with Washingtin Silva of Brazil, who has been an overachiever in making this round.

As for Sutherland, he won't beat Balanco ploughing forward like a slow Bulldozer, like he did in his first fight.

He was good and steady, very well balanced.

Yet he still slipped in the final round.

    That canvas is muck!

So does that mean that in boxing 2 bronze medals are awarded. Because there are 4 fighters in the quater final, the two winners will fight for the gold and silver.
