34 is the new cutoff age for amateur santioned matches, so the mountain doesn't actually exist.
Still though, many get into boxing at older ages for the conditioning. You won't get santioned fights legitimately, but could still spar and fight exhibitions so long as you can pass a medical for it.
Sorry son,at 39,your out of the running. Most commisions wont even consider sanctioning you pro
Bro just train hard and don't think of anything, other paths will emerge, you never know laws might change in boxing sooner or later, or you might shift into mixed martial arts and be accepted, just keep persevering. In life when you work hard reguardless of the odds, shit works out in mysterious ways, only as long as you work hard and keep pushing.
Check out White Collar boxing for a start.
Get down to a gym and if you show promise anything can happen.

and yet Thunder is a "Pro" . Go figure.
At some gyms, at 39 this guy would fit right in. At others, he'd fell out of place as it's all kids. I fit in beautifully at my old gym in the states as we had the full spectrum of ages, but now back home in Canada, I feel like a geezer and should hang em up as it's nothing but kids.
