CARL FROCH insists Amir Khan's defeat to Breidis Prescott was NOT a shock.

Khan, 21, saw his unbeaten record destroyed in just 54 seconds in Manchester on Saturday night.
And Froch believes it was just a matter of time before the Bolton fighter came unstuck.
The undefeated super-middleweight said: "I didn't order the fight as I couldn't agree with it being a pay-per-view event.
"But watching the highlights on the news it looked like Amir had been hit with a lump hammer.

I agree in a away Lee, i think Froch would fight anyone at anytme, but i dont think he has been promoted the best i mean come on you have to admit how old is he 30/31? He has fought no one, which is a shame.

Totally agree he has called out Joe Calzaghe many times he was supposed to fight Jermain Taylor, Dennis Inkin, but they both pulled out so it isn't Froch's fault he is willing to the best im not a big fan of his style but we have to be fair here.

Calzaghe offered him the date that eventually Manfredo took and Froch bottled it. He's never had the bottle to step up to world level and that's why he's 31 and still an untested prospect. The only thing world class about him is the size of his mouth.

Totally agree he has called out Joe Calzaghe many times he was supposed to fight Jermain Taylor, Dennis Inkin, but they both pulled out so it isn't Froch's fault he is willing to the best im not a big fan of his style but we have to be fair here.

Fuck Froch. He's been saying Joe's name since he was a 10 fight novice. Summer of 2007 he was offered the fight even though he'd done jack SHIT to earn it. whether there were options involved or not he was offered a career high purse, if he was so genuinely confident of beating Joe why not take the fight even if Frank has a say in your future?

'Done all he can do' my arse, trash talking in the media counts for shit, has he actually made any offers whatsoever to fight all the guys he says he'll smoke (Pavlik, joe, Kessler, Bute, Taylor)? has he fuck. All he has to fall back on is that some guy barely in the top 15 (Inkin) got injured and pulled out twice, and the abuse directed at Inkin is rather ironic considering it's coming from sicknote Froch.
