hard to say bro, I am very impressed by Marquez. As far as how he will do against Sanchez, this one I do not know. I did not see enough of Sanchez. As far as the others I would say you are spot on.

A prime Barrera against Marquez would have been a war

Marquez beats Sanchez, Barrera and Olivares (his best days were at Bantam, not Feather). But loses to Morales and the southpaw Salvidar

You really don't know some boxing VD. You pretend to know things but your ignorance is crystal clear. A prime Barrera would have beaten Marquez. I doubt it if Marquez would still be standing against Sanchez. Marquez could not keep up against the power of Pacquaio, how much more against Sanchez?

For giving me neg reps without reason, I say this: Shut up VD.

Barrera did beat Marquez IMO, that uncalled KD and points deduction made a clear MAB win, a narrow one.

    lol.

I love JMM great fighter but Sanchez was a league above them all he would soundly beat Marques. The Sanchez that obliterated Wilfredo Gomez i dout Marques sees round 10.

Don't even try and pretend like you know about Sanchez and how good he was. Your the same idiot who said Sanchez and Wilfredo Gomez would get smoked by Pacquaio. Don't even think about denying it. I already got the thread bookmarked. So save yourself the embarrassment.

Oh the things Boxing Rec doesn't tell you. Gomez was moving up in weight to face Sanchez. He was the smaller man. Not only that Gomez came in completely out of shape. Puerto Rico has never forgiven Gomez for that. Gomez also underestimated Sanchez's power.

Marquez has always been a Featherweight. He's the same size as Sanchez was. He's always in shape and never underestimates an opponent. If anybody thinks Sanchez would do to Marquez what he did to Gomez is a fukking idiot. And knows nothing about Boxing. Pretty much describes you.

I also remember Wilfredo Gomez crying when Salvador Sanchez died, because he would never be able to prove he was better than Sanchez. I know Gomez was the smaller man and was moving up in weight, and was partying and didn't take the fight as serious as Sanchez did........

But im still not sure even a 100 percent focused and fully trained Gomez would have beaten Sanchez, because i think we hadn't seen the best of Sanchez. As for Marquez vs Sanchez i can see Marquez winning Sanchez did lose his concentration at times which led him to struggling against lesser fighters like Pat Cowdell etc........

But i can't really say because Sanchez had unreal stamina and hit harder than Marquez, although Marquez is a bit better technically. And has slightly better concentration, there both excellent counter punchers very hard to split em IMO.

Sanchez was a great fighter. But his early death has pretty moved him from great fighter to legendary fighter. Which is not accurate. I pick Marquez to win a close fight. Sanchez is certainly capable of winning as well. But under no circumstances would Sanchez do to Marquez what he did to Gomez.

And you're saying that Pac doesn't have a chance against SAnchez but Marquez will win it for sure?

You can bring it up and we can have a debate on it. The two fighters would be very explosive but I still would give the upperhand on Pacquaio if they fight in the Featherweight. Pacquaio knows how to counter Marquez, Morales and Barrera. I know he can do it to Sanchez. In the featherweight, Pacquaio has the speed and the punching power to win it through. A prime Pac vs Sanchez could be very very close. It could go either way.

So what do you want to prove now VD?

For me a prime Morales, Barrera and Sanchez all beat him. I actually think that Barrera might have beat him when they did fight had Jay Nady not fucked up. But thats just a "what if" and I cannot take anything away from Marquez. Great fighter.

Erik Morrales would outbox him in a close fight.
Barrera in his prime would have out foughten Marquez
    Salvador would have beat him

Lopez would have outboxed him as well.
