Are you sure Shane was caught using steroids? I know there was some sort of nebulous association with BALCO, but I don't think he ever tested positive. Nor was there evidence he was shipped steroids as was the case with Holyfield. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

REGARDLESS the government dropped the case because there was no conclusive evidence to go on as far as the facts behind the so called substances... THE CASE WAS DROPPED!

I'm not too sure how I feel about the whole steroid/performance enhancer thing.

I have no problem at all when it's a legal supplement.

When it's a banned substance like stanzol, "the clear", EPO, etc....then I start to have mixed feelings. I don't like that, but maybe the reality is that the majority of world class athletes use some sort of illegal substance.
