Default Chris Arreola vs David Haye = Slugfest

Please let this fight happen what a slugfest this would be, Arreola has good handspeed especially with the combinations, and has good power and keeps on coming, and Haye has good boxing skills and is just knocking everyone out. The best fight at Heavyweight that can happen.

Would like to see it. Haye is obviously much faster, more athletic, more technical but who knows, if Arreola can take his punches and keep coming well see about Haye's chin.

Great matchup, I'd love to see either in with Sam Peter as well.

Maybe a bit unfair here but I think Arreola took a small step sideways.Off his biggest career win and with huge,no pun intended,momentum.....he comes waddling into the ring so slobbish.I know he has had a bit of a ponch problem but come on man, that really says a lot.He will have to go rounds as he steps it up when his power is not enough and better carry himself in top form along the way. That said.....If he catches Haye early,I think he flattens him

Am I the only one who thinks Haye would spark out Arreola inside of 5?

I think Arreolas too slow and his punches are to wide, Hayes more compact and I feel better up in skills then Arreola.

Depends on Arreola's chin really. He is sloppy.

Could be wrong, but have always heard Chris liked to party maybe a bit too much. Could be totally wrong about that, but it could have something to do with his weight. Or maybe he just likes to eat

No, you're definitely not the only one.

I can see that happening. But I can also see Haye getting stopped early just as easily

Congrats on becoming a MOD bro as for your comments i agree, i think Arreola is one of those tough guys that could withstand a good beating. And comeback to stop his opponent late on, Arreola is also pretty quick handed aswell and can hit i think he could beat Haye in war.

Bilbo i would love to see Peter vs Haye or Arreola, i think if promoters start setting up this action packed Heavyweight fights. We would get more interest in Heavyweight division, because i know i'll certainly watch any of the fights mentioned in this thread.

Thumbs down Re: Chris Arreola vs David Haye = Slugfest

Neither has fought anyone that you could make a good comparison with. I don't think Arreola is very good and for some reason Haye keeps dodging fights.

Neither, probably, could get past Vladimir's defense.

So, line up a hand full of mediocre eastern Europeans for them both to fight, if they survive it, bring on Samuel Peter and the Brothers K.

The HW division sucks so bad.

This fight reminds me of Mosley-Mayorga...Haye is a fighter who relies on his quickness and handspeed and Arreola is a brawler with slow thudding punches.

I think if Arreola's chin is as solid as it has been then Haye gets in big trouble late after dominating early rounds. If Arreola's chin is questionable then he gets worn down and stopped late.

Wladimir should unify without a problem...if only they would let him have the fight vs Valuev!
